Same interview when he was questioned why he didn't complain this time last year when Obama had deported MORE people than Trump has in the same time he waffles and said last year doesn't matter. Just what's going on now.

He should spend more time in Chicago and less time on federal politics.

She has surrounded herself with yes people who are afraid to expose her to reality. This is the most bizarre situation I've seen in a very long time, if ever. It's like there's a movie scrip writer behind this farce.

Of course he's uncomfortable being asked to speak for somebody else. He has no idea what Clinton wants to do. Obviously she's unlikely to get the nomination if she tries but that's not for Emmanuel to say.

Why ask him?

He wasn't asked about Hillary's plans. He was asked whether or not he thinks it's a good idea.

His discomfort spoke volumes.

He should worry about run away gun violence and an inability to pay teachers in his city. He's failing on the big stage.

Because he has positioned himself as a national figure within the Democratic party. And has expressed himself on numerous occasions to numerous media outlets on national issues.

So he will be asked questions like that as he is now considered a voice and Senior spokesman for the party.

And if he doesn't like it he should stay out of the national public spotlight and stick to picking up the garbage and making the trains run on time.

And that makes him a mind reader? How is being a national figure supposed to enable him to know what Clinton will do in three years?

This is a stupid thread...

No, that was a stupid answer. You can't even comprehend what the topic is about. He was asked his OPINION on whether she will run, not IF she will run. Reading is fundamental.

Your attempt at sidestepping the question posed is about as inept as RE.

Hillary Clinton will be far far too old to run in 3.5 years. She was in very poor health before and at her age, she's not going to be getting any stronger.

In addition, she was theee worst possible candidate the demo could have picked. She's horrible in every respect.

Time for her to fully retire from public life. Walk away and never look back Hillary

As stated. The question was did he think she should?

The waffling speaks volumes. A lot of democrats wish she would retire.

*I'm* of the opinion she will not run but Emmanuel has no idea what she will do and given the position he has it would be incredibly inappropriate for him to say anything when he doesn't know what she will do.

People would assume his answer was based on inside information he doesn't have. You're even trying to read something in to him not answering, imagine your false certainty that he must know something if he did answer.

Again, this is a stupid thread.

Look at the thread title. Look up the word should. As in. They were not asking him to read her mind. They were asking him if HE thought she should. As in does she deserve another kick at the can.

The context being he is a senior Democrat and they are fishing to see how they feel about Clinton losing now that the dust has settled. And probably so when the whole Russia story fades they have something new to call Breaking News.

And his answer was telling. There are several Senior Democrats who are pissed at her loss and place the blame on her. Only they can't say that publicly yet.

So it isn't a stupid thread because it's speculation on what direction the Party will be going in the future and how they are transitioning to new leadership.

Every scrap helps in trying to gage intentions.

No, it's just stupid. Obviously it's not his place to say.

As for blame, obviously Trump was a shitty candidate who was only able to win over another shitty candidate with the help of a foreign spy agency. Had the Democrats run a non shitty candidate then Russia's dirty tricks wouldn't have been enough to elect Trump.

It's not "his place" to know his own opinions?

That's hilarious.
The last thing any Clinton fans want is to have senior democrats come out and publicly say she was the wrong choice. Because then it means they were wrong as well.

But by not doing a proper post mortum they are risking alienating the lefty wing of the party.
