Sorry Phil wasn't that aware of the current state of Dutch football. You have to admit what came after 1986 was pretty fuckin good.

The Milan Invincibles are still the best club I've ever seen. Not only could they score at will, they could shut you down like no other. The starting defense: Tasotti, Costacurta, Baresi, Maldini...they almost didn't need a goalie.

Against Real, all the major players scored: all three Dutchmen, Donadoni and Club Captain Carlo Ancelotti who scored the first goal.

Going into the 1988 European Cup, Marco Van Basten had spent most of the year on injury reserve, he was fresh. The USSR eliminated The Azzurri in the semi-final, everything went right for the Orange.

TFC lose game 1 of the Canadian Championship semi-final to Ottawa Fury (USL) 2-1. TFC need at least a 1-0 win at BMO field to advance.

Yeah but they made up for it with a 5-0 wipeout today. And really who cares about the Canadian Championship and the CONACAF champions league. Does anybody actually follow a champions league tourney not called THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. Lets keep the MSL championship as the goal for the season.

TFC 5 Columbus 0: Jordan Hamilton is back!

Gio and Alti were both out of the lineup, the Canadians did very well in their place. Ricketts is a natural goal scorer, but he's a late bloomer (29). Hamilton has mad skills, at 21 he's just getting started. He's scored consistently at every level he's played at including a hat-trick against England in an U-20 tournament. Let's hope TFC can keep him, European clubs may be already scouting him.

He doesn't appear to have lost any of his quality from his long layoff with a leg injury. Some celebratory music is in order.

I wonder if the Canadians (Hamilton, Osario and Ricketts) can carry over that magic in the 2nd leg vs Ottawa. Game 1 was a disgrace.

TFC put in a stronger lineup vs Ottawa and they did the job 4-0 win. TFC take on Montreal in the Canadian Championships June 21 and 27.

TFC started their second run for MLS Cup with a 2-1 win over NY Red Bulls. Now the 2nd leg in Toronto on Sunday. Any tie or any win and TFC advance.

Red Bulls played a very physical game, I hope Vazquez is fit for the return leg. Play-makers are not plentiful, this is why Andrea Pirlo can still have a career at NYCFC...even though he's slower than a turtle in winter.

Gio should be better known in Toronto, he keeps a very low profile. On the pitch he's an assassin, the Red Bulls had the run of play when he stuck the knife in. The best dead ball specialist in MLS.

Red alert......Red alert!!!

I like her, she seems like a fun person. I hope SportsNetwork or TSN sign her
She did say in one of her videos that she has a special announcement to make at the end of the season. She's moving on from TFC social media host, is my guess. Where she ends up (TSN, Sportsnet, ESPN, MLS network, Fox Sports) , I don't know.

Big mistake by the NY Red Bulls by not putting a defender on the post during Seba's Golazo.

The latest I heard on Victor Vazquez is that he has an abductor strain, if he cant go Sunday, Jonathan Osorio is going to need to step up. Michael Bradley is not a distributor.

As for Caroline Szwed, more than likely she'll end up at SN. The reason I believe this to be true, the popular Missplays of the Month has been taken off rotation. They need someone with Jackie's wit and charm to front that show.

No update on Vazquez.

Someone doesn't know what they are talking about. If Gio had been selected for the Azzurri (glad he wasn't...Marko Pjaca anyone) who do you leave at home - Lorenzo Insigne?

I like Redmond but Caroline is super hot and sweet personality. I'm hooked on her.
