Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson is off as Khabib was hospitalized due to a difficult weight cut. This has definitely put a damper on my weekend.

FUCK was my first reaction on fb when I saw that this fight wasn't happening as well lol.
I don't think Khabib is quite ready to move up yet.

AKA does not take appropriate precautions to keep their fighters healthy. This is ridiculous, something should be done about them. Michael Johnson and Eddie Alvarez did offer to fill in but Tony declined.

Woodley and Thompson better be a war to make up for the cancellation.

Exactly how I felt. I thought Thompson was far more aggressive for 5 rounds and doing more in the fight. IMO he won the first four.
Woodly sinched round 5 easy, but certainly not a 10-8

Woodley landed more strikes than Wonderboy though. I think that as the challenger the onus was on Thompson to take the title away from the champ, and he didn't exactly do that. The decision could have gone either way though, I was turned off by the lack of action.
Is Woodley going to fight McGregor next, since there is technically no interim fighter due to Khabib not making it to the scales? Woodley vs McGregor would be a good build up to a ppv due to their personalities.

I was surprised to see Hunt get knocked out, I wonder if Overeem is back on the roids. I'd like to see him vs Ngannou.

Yeah I did have it as a draw as well but I knew they weren't going to send this to a boring trilogy. Nobody wants too see a rematch between these two after that performance.
I wish Demian Maia could get a shot at Woodley next instead of having to go through Masvidal. But Connor could interrupt all of this if he wants to.

He got his 250k show money. So it's actually better that he showed The UFC that he wasn't bluffing instead of fighting Johnson.

I'm confident Khabib doesn't do PED's with all these pullouts though..
