Woman sits on man's feet on Subway

In apparent empty subway car, a woman lectures a young man about having his feet up on a seat. The young man does not remove his feet from the seat, the woman then sits on his feet.
After arguing a bit more, the young man then pushes the woman off his feet, the woman then presses the emergency strip and delays the subway for 5 minutes.

This woman is a nutjob IMO, she should be charged with assault, the male has every right to push her off his feet.

True its against TTC rules, there is a fine of over $200.00 for putting your feet on the seats.

The matter is not worth the court's time. They were both out of line...TTC should just ban them both from using public transit and be done with it.

He's a selfish little turd who thinks that he can do as he pleases. Sorry, the world doesn't work that way. There's this thing called common courtesy and putting your dirty shoes on a chair where people are supposed to sit and both taking up the space and dirtying up the seat make him 99% at fault in all of this.

Although I agree she took it too far, I understand her frustration. You see these little ignorant bastards on the subway all the time. Must have been born in a barn is what I always think.

It amazes me how many 'right-fighters' there are in this world. Both parties felt they were "right", but no one wins in the end. Worse still, they caused a subway delay for something so stupid. Too bad you can't charge people for being stupid and inconsiderate.

I completely understand her point about being considerate but if the train was empty, she took it too far. When the train is empty, using the free space to relax is fine. Propping your legs up to relax or make it easier to view your phone as you text is fine. Is it illegal? Sure, as much as jay walking is illegal. If just about every seat is empty, just sit down.

If the train was full and nobody was able to sit because this guy's feet on the empty chair, I would be supportive of what she did.

IT is not about whether the train is empty or not. If he had wet boots or dirty shoes then would you want them on a seat that someone will later use? People should not needlessly go out of their way to make the subway seats dirtier than they already are.

The lady took it too far but I'm with her on this one. When called on it the guy should have put his feet down and apologized.

Apparently he had a strained ankle, it was swollen, and was keeping his clean shoe elevated on an empty train. Not sure I see her side at all.
