It's a crime to lie to the FBI, making false statements to a federal agent. Several of Trump's aide's seem to have broken that law. Pence must be feeling pretty uneasy. Trump is going to need to be reaaaaaaaaly careful what he says.

Has the FBI questioned anyone? What is the investigation about? Amazingly enough it is not a crime to speak with an agent of a foreign government, it is only a crime if you pass along classified information.

Which is not to say it's par for the course for a National Security Advisor to lie to the man who's a heartbeat from being President and his boss. Nor it is a crime.

Not everything we don't ever want people to do has yet been made a crime. Nor should it be, unless we want to be ruled by police, prosecutors an gaolers. Or lead by people who only behave when threatened by such punishments.

Not so amazing. How do you plan to turn an Agent if you can't speak to them. Or to use tactics to obtain information. As will any crime, it's more about intent then the action.

You seem to conveniently forget that some of these discussions were before Trump was president. This means he was a private citizen not turning an gent or getting info on behalf of the government.

Dude....i was speaking in the abstract. Look at the context. He said he was amazed it isn't a crime. I gave valid reasoning. It has nothing to do with Trump directly.

And if you will note my posts on the topic in various threads aren't partisan or supportive. I'm waiting for more information and have discussed why. And have 100% supported the notion of an investigation and his removal.

But I was not in any way implying Flynn had a reason like that. In fact I'm surprised he was stupid enough not to think any communication with the ambassador wasn't being recorded.

There....feel better now?

We are talking about Trump and his team lying. Whether Hillary lied or not does not have anything to do whether Trump lied.

Feel comfort, in that the agency that didn't indict Hillary decides whether Trump gets indicted. It seems rather straight forward. Don't understand why you sound worried.
