Once again this stupid format sucks.
They're gonna wear out their goal horn with this 3 on 3 pond hockey.
I want to see a return of a classic old format that I'm too young to remember.
The previous year's Cup winner versus an all-star team.
Now wouldn't that that be cool again?

Afraid you will never see a return to a competitive format as there is too much money tied up in player contracts.
If I am not doing anything I will watch the festivities. Caught some of the 100 player presentation on Friday night and watched the skills competition (though I had the sound off as I was listening to music). Currently watching the all star game and surfing. To be honest it is boring hockey...
It was good to see the boys having fun. The one game where they don't have to be too serious. The speed skating was fun to watch but hockey speed is much shorter than this circuit, like 30-40 feet. I think the young Phil Kessel would be quickest at 30-40 feet.
I think the current Phil Kessel would be the quickest if there was a buffet table at the end of the 30-40 feet.
