One of my favorite characters was
Wile E Coyote, he just never gave up! He was determined to get that Roadrunner no matter what!
With the help of the Acme Company he had an endless supply of equipment to carry out his quest!

Do you have a cartoon character that stands out from all the rest?

Many of the Looney Toons characters are favourites of mine, from Wile E, Foghorn, Yosemite Sam, Porky and of course Bugs and Daffy. I'll add that the original Scooby Do was a good one as well.

They've ruined a lot of the old Looney Tune cartoons, it's hard to find the original versions not the censored ones they've had on tv for years and on DVD releases.

I bet virtually no one ever heard of this silly cartoon. It
is deemed to be the worst cartoon series from the
60's. I seem to remember it didn't last for one or two
seasons. Somehow I always remember it fondly
because of the childhood memories it invokes.

What no mention yet of the original Spiderman with the iconic theme song.

Or Rocket Robin Hood from the same studio (Canadian btw)

Add in the original Johnny Quest

And the original Star Blazers.

And while not cartoons I'm going to throw in H.R Puffinstuf and Lidsville for consideration as well.

Directly above the center of the earth
Did you know that the Hamburglar, Mayor McCheese, and the others from McDonald's commercials were a ripoff of the characters in H.R. Puffinstuff? The two creators Syd & Marty Kroft successfully sued McDonald's. It's painful to watch a lot of the stuff now, endless violence for laughs, repeating backgrounds, etc.

Why, Penelope Pitstop, of course!
Seriously, Foghorn was always my fave. "What, I say, whatcha got there boy? Sody pop!? (Watch it fizz...)"
