The questions for me is Roger Federer going to capture some old glory .. Will Andy Murry's number 1 ranking be short lived , Will Ronic win a Grand Slam ..

Andy Murray should be number one for a while as Djokovich can't get more points than he has now for quite some while (June). Murray on the other hand could improve as he wasn't so good in the spring US hard court events.

I'd be very surprised if Federer can get another title, same for Nadal. So unless these two can turn things round it's going to be the big 2 (not 4) from now on.

Watch out for "Baby Fed". Think he finally has his head in the right place. Won 1 of the warm up tournaments for the Aussie Open.

In my heart I'm sayin

"Come on Andy"

Nice to see Roger get his 1st win under his belt ... I am curious to know what his expectations are for this tournament ... It is his 1st event since his injury ...

A guy like that has only one mentality. He is playing to win it all.

Roger might have a Nickalaus '86 Masters moment left in him. Or maybe more like Sampras '02 US Open but I doubt it. Field is too good presently

Roger Federer is off too the 3rd round ... It took just 3 sets but they weren't easy sets and player was ranked 200 . Wow 17 years ago it was a 200 plus ranked Federer who beat American Micheal Chang

After defeating a pair of qualifiers, the road gets more treacherous for Federer, who will face No. 10 seed Tomas Berdych in Friday's third-round match

Also interested to see that Eugenie has made it to the 3rd round.

I hope Genie is putting SPF 50 sunblock on that midriff she's baring in her current tennis outfit. I'm sure she would have volunteers from the Genie Army to help apply it. But seriously, she is looking good, and so is her game.

Isn't she cute!

Say what you will about Genie, she puts bums in seats. Both of her opening round matches were near sell outs.

One of the benefits of poor sleep habits is that I just saw the last two sets of an amazing upset by Denis Istoman (WHO?), ranked 117 over Novak. 6-4 in the 5th. Novak did not tank. Istoman was lights out.

Something is up with Djokovic. Ever since the French Open victory he has been out of sorts.

I suspect it is as much mental as anything else. Probably lost a bit of motivation and is now trying too hard to recapture it. He did beat Murray the other week though so he still has it, just is finding it difficult to find his true form.

Serena had a dry spell once, so she juiced up. It hasn't happened since and she looks like Earl Campbell with titties.

When you get married and have boat loads of cash thrown at you ... It maybe hard to stay hungry ... It makes you appreciate Roger's run and his career ...

And that's the end of the tournament for Genie. I've always said it's pretty hard to beat a hot Coco.. Now our hopes rest with Milos and senior citizen Daniel Nestor in doubles.

Didn't he play for the Portland Trail Blazers, won an NBA title with Bill Walton?

Is Denis Shapovalov not competing in Melbourne. In the long run he'll better than Raonic. But he's going to take his lumps for now.
