I get around.
Ronda could probably do some stunt fights in WWE as a villain.

The audio from her corner is available here: http://ca.complex.com/sports/2016/12/audio-from-ronda-rousey-corner-during-amanda-nunes-fight
:director:

Her coach is shouting "head movement" but she stands there flat footed without the typical boxer's 'instinct' or training to duck and weave. Really big mistake to go over a year without a fight, and not to have her do at least 1 or 2 matches with lower-ranked fighters to work on boxing skills before going up against The Lioness.

Rousey's done, Connor is taking a break for a year, Jon Jones and Cyborg failed doping tests. The UFC needs to find some new names to draw crowds.

You mean number one contenders like Frank Bruno, Carl Williams etc? Tyson never beat a great heavyweight in their prime. Look it up
If you look up ANY great heavyweight in their prime they will have plenty of bums on their list as well. Im not saying Tyson was the greatest but his 50 wins wasn't all hype. If Tyson was all hype he wouldn't have lasted 11 rounds with Holyfield or 8 rounds with a much bigger and younger Lewis.

Ronda's problem is her mentality. Tyson's problem was also his mentality. Ronda probably lived a childhood opposite of tyson, filled with easy success and being sheltered, any defeat or pushback was taken too seriously. Tyson never really had a father, so he was always insecure and looking for a father figure, this lead him to a troubled personal life which destroyed his boxing career. Had both their lives been added together and then each given half, they would have a normal health mental attitude and be able to retire as champions.

I hope Ronda does come back, a more humbled Ronda, a Ronda that can deal with losing as a normal part of winning.

He chose Don King as a father figure. Bad choice.

3 mil reported does not include money paid by sponsors, any other “locker room” or special discretionary bonuses, and pay-per-view cuts.

She actually made close to 5.5-6 mil, not 3 mil.

Some fighters (ego???) just don't know when to quit until its too late. Long term permanent damage.
All that money means nothing, except more for the slimy promotors and agents.
Sometimes that ego is a necessary evil. It's what drove many of these people to become great fighters in the first place.

Bernard Hopkins got knocked out recently for the first time in his fighting career. Nobody should be fighting at 51 years old.

This is why guys like Floyd Mayweather Jr. are remarkable inside and outside of the ring. They know when to hang it up intact.
