Just bored, thought I'd make a fun thread.

Any gamers here? What are you playing right now? I just started Dishonored 2 and I'm pretty deep into Forza Horizon 3 and Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim Special Edition.

I have had dishonored 2 since launch, I am about 1/3rd the way through it I am guessing. The individual parts of the game are well done, but together something just does not flow. I played as Emily, I think I will restart the game and play as corvo instead.

Been playing alot of Xcom 2, finished it half a dozen times. This game has alot of longevity to me because of all the mods for it that are built into the steam workshop.

Bishop, theres a big rumor that dishonoured is like 99% similarities to bioshock? can u confirm? Is this true? (also, system shock is the earlier game that has similarities to bioshock, i am told also)

I wanted to try the latest doom game but i had serious doubts that the latest doom game will suck me in like the old retro one did.

If you liked the old retro doom games from the 90s you will like the new one. Since it takes Doom back to its roots. It has an emphasis on fast paced combat and always moving, where as the one before Doom 3 was much slower paced and had a more survival horror feel.

as for the similiarities betwen dishonored and bioshock, I'm not really seeing it. Bioshock is a much faster paced game, The only similiarity I can think of is that they both allow you to utlilize guns and magical/supernatural powers, other then that they are different games Bioshock is a shooter, Dishonored is more a 1st person stealth action game.

I've been playing Pokemon Moon. I know, I know I am a Poke-Nerd.

I also enjoy Fantasy Life.

All DS games.

I miss the PS3 I loved Gran Turismo. I rocked in that game. Love racing games, such an amazing thrill. Just need to get my hands on a NASCAR and take it for a spin.

I also played a lot of Tomb Raider.

I am also playing The Sims 2 on my Mac.

Apparently sometime in 20017. Reaper of souls is good. Also other expansions for free in the updates. Lots of stuff.

I feel the same way about the new Doom. I guess you can say that it plays like quake but in the doom universe. I neither liked quake or the past incarnations of Doom, but this new Doom is good, it is very brutal and relentless.

Dishonored is not much like bioshock. Both are the very best in there respective genre, so in that sense they are similar.

I also have been playing some metal gear 5. I wish I had not cheapened out and bought it for PS3, the game is good but man I can not see sh*t in 720p, in a stealth game where you keep to keep track of enemies in the desert 720p just brutal.

Pokemon Go and candy crush.

My desktop broke last year and I havent restore it...so sno more WOW and Skyrim for me :(
I bought a large sized laptop. Paid for with my "quit smoking" savings as a reward. Once my desktop is done I won't buy another one. Just another laptop for the SO.

Considering how quickly computers need to be replaced desktops aren't worth it. Spend the extra for the laptop and make it all purpose.

I generally think racing games are boring, but I am addicted to Forza Horizon 3 I love how you can have your own custom music soundtrack via groove music. Skyrim Special Edition with mod support makes you feel like you are playing a whole new game. I really love the celtic music mod which replaces the vanilla background music with lovely celtic tunes.
