Good outing by Liriano and the 3 bullpen guys.
I really think Biagini's future is in the pen, and not as a starter

You may be right about Biagini, but, he is young and inexperienced. I would not give up on him as a starter just yet. I would be hanging on to him as the worst you have is a competent young reliever.Good outing by Liriano and the 3 bullpen guys.

Not that young, he's 27, though under team control for 4 more seasons. You may be right about Biagini, but, he is young and inexperienced. I would not give up on him as a starter just yet. I would be hanging on to him as the worst you have is a competent young reliever.
2018 - We assume that Josh plays up to his normal potential and that this year is an aberration. Travis is back and hits well. Hopefully he stays healthy. The corner OF spots needs to be filled. That will be a big job. Tulo at SS will be a year older and slower. Smoak will hopefully continue to impress at 1B. Martin will still be C.If they move Liriano, Estrada and maybe Happ, with Sanchez on the DL every other week, the Jays will need starters. And there ain't much in at AAA. Biagini will be a starter after end of July, out of necessity.
BTW, Shatkins will say what they need to say to fill butts in seats. They can't say they will blow up the team and try in 2020.
BUT we can see from their moves at the trade deadline what their true intentions are, not just lip-service. Actions speak louder than words.
Unless you're facing a guy named Aaron Judge :biggrin1:Both are fly ball pitchers. KC has a big outfield. Makes sense
In his interview he was hinting Jays will be more inclined to deal in the winter, rather then this summer.Shatkins will say what they need to say to fill butts in seats. They can't say they will blow up the team and try in 2020.

They said on AM590 it was hindering his ability to see the breaking balls.Anybody else notice that Donaldson is no longer wearing the face shield? When did he ditch it?
I remember thinking earlier this year that he'd give up on it if his season didn't turn around. Took longer than I expected
Hey you!!! We're on a 2-game winning streak!!The Jays need baby step goals. At a minimum they should try to pass the Orioles before the end of the season
I heard Danny Barnes just added to DLTo-night and last night were good. Jays win the game and nobody got hurt. Usually, the Jays lose and one or more guys get hurt.
