I have said it before. I did not respect his protest against the US national anthem. The incidents he was protesting for fall under state jurisdiction(if I am not mistaken) not federal.
I do not have any respect for him.

I don't get how a league full of thugs and criminals, a league where a prominent sports website once had a clock counting the time since the most recent NFL player arrest, has a player kneel for the national anthem and he's despised.

I don't agree with his method of protest but the way he is criticized for it is absurd.
Terrific post.

Whether we agree or not with his method of protest doesn't matter.
It's peaceful, and has created dialogue. Kind of what I suspect was part of the design.

With all the criminals in the NFL, on & off the field, people are worried about a young man's posture during a song?
Good grief.

Probably a reflection on our society where everybody can voice their opinion via the internet and being able to do so anonymously behind a keyboard eliminates all filters and emboldens them.

It encourages extremism.

I heard today that Lamar Jackson is only the 2nd QB in all of NFL playoff history to rush for 100 yds. twice.

Kaepernick was the first. Not sure how he did this while kneeling.
