If TFC can beat Montreal they will be hosting the MLS CUP at BMO field vs Seattle on Dec 10. Something tells it's a lot harder than it sounds.
It always is, my esteemed colleague.

It always is.

TFC pulled off a 5-2 stunner to advance to the MLS cup finals.

Fantastic game. TFC never gave in and Bradley played magnificently.

Final game on the home pitch so we have to take it. We have to.

Chelsea 3 City 1.

Aguerro burnishes his reputation as a stiff, both for Argentina and Man City.

Conte will probably face a disciplinary for his actions. He came to Fabregas's defense and Fernandinho got in his grill. Not a wise move.

Actually if TFC reaches the summit and are managed correctly, they could win several MLS titles.

What the hell happened - the Conte factor. He's a very demanding coach but there are two factors that he's consistent with: he has his players back and he'll never publicly berate a player. On the other hand I pity the fool who isn't pulling his weight and has to meet him in private!

The Derby: Roma 2 Lazio 0 - Man of the Match: Kevin Strootman.

The Dutchman is finally back to his pre-injury ways, creating five turnovers and taking one to score himself.

Chelsea are targeting Antonio Rudiger in the January transfer window - Roma would be insane to sell him. He had a rocky start to his Serie A career but since February he's been a wall. Germany's defense isn't getting any younger, he deserves a call up.

Fuck this!

Fuck you Rogers. The Bein feed went black for much of the game.

When it came back on, Messi went knee on knee with Verratti. Typical, when Messi doesn't get his way he turns to violence.

The last time these two clubs met, Messi knew he had been in a fight. Verratti harried him all game. The commentators said that Verratti cut the link between Iniesta and Messi. I would have liked to have seen it! When the match ended, Messi congradulated De Maria then walked past Verratti. Petulant little man.

Barca probably out already. I guess now Messi won't renew his contract unless Luis Enrique is gone at the end of the season.

Not necessarily, if PSG play catenaccio they could make life difficult for themselves.

The foul that Messi got away with was not a knee on knee but he should have been warned anyway. Messi was responsible for the second goal, Verratti picked him clean. It looked like the Italian was going to take on Barca's defense himself and they tightened up. The blind pass to Draxler caught them out of position. I hope he's fit for the return leg, PSG are not the same without him.

My gumba Maurizio Sarri was brave in his tactics. The rule with Spanish clubs is you can't sit back and defend against them, they will kill you.

I'm proud of the way il Napolitani took the game to Real and I'm still hopeful. The got the away goal, going into the hostile San Carlo is a different animal. Hopefully by then Milik will be in game shape, he could make a difference. Verratti and Insigne helped Pescara into Serie A as teenagers. Once there, they were immediately snapped up by their current clubs. It also belies the quality of Serie A football. Manolo Gabbiadini couldn't earn a starting spot with Napoli, he already has 3 goals with Southampton.

I feel bad for Claudio Ranieri but I was not surprised. His managerial career has always been a jolt of caffeine, he managed to sustain it for an entire year with Leicester. Now the effect has worn off.

Manolo Gabbiadini is finally living up to his potential. He's always been strictly a point man, he didn't get that opportunity at Napoli. With 5 goals in 3 matches for Southampton, he's also been lauded by Gary Neville and "The Special One", mind you that wouldn't have happened had United lost.

The Juventus prodigy machine rolls on, Mattia Caldara is leading Atalanta into Europe. Not to be confused with the EU's new sea strategy Operation Atalanta - to rescue refugees crossing the Mediterranean and put the boots to Somali pirates at the same time.

Wow......Barcelona 6 PSG 1.....that's right....Barcelona 6 PSG 1.

Worst choke I have ever seen. The Parisians looked like the 11 Stooges. You don't play catenaccio against Spanish clubs, you get in their face. Verratti made three quality passes, Cavani hit the post and Di Maria (as usual) farted. Taking Draxler off was a mistake, at least he was willing to fight.

In other news, Bryan Cristante may not get the chance to play for the Azzurri, but he could really help Canada out.

Helped by Suarez's ridiculous flop in the 90th minute, no way that's a foul, no contact was made.
