Not sure about that danmand, but it appears Barcelona is going Italian. Marco Verratti was seen partying with Lionel Messi in Ibiza, a complete turnaround from the snubbing the Pescarese got after match 1 vs PSG. Andrea Pirlo started something, Marco Verratti better not get complacent about his place on the Azzurri. Pellegrini and De Marco are more than capable of taking his place. Germany also won the U21 European Championship as well.

The big question is, did Die Mannschaft Jr sucker in the Azzurrini? Germany and Italy had the disadvantage of 48 hr less rest going into the semi finals. In the last group match, Germany folded up the tent against Italy and lost 1-0. They beat the weaker team England by shootout, Italy went down to 10 men and lost to Spain 3-1.

They took home 2 pieces of silverware this past weekend. I pretty sure they are most proud of the Confederation Cup as they have never won that one before, the under 21 was good as well but let's be honest as it is a cash grab for FIFA.. they both are really. Lol

The Confederation's Cup is Sepp Blatter's vanity tournament. The UEFA U21 started in the 70's, it's a showcase for rising talent.

It's beginning to look like Marco Verratti could be stuck at PSG for another year.

Lionel Messi wouldn't take less money that would have allowed Barca to make the transfer for the distributor. Barca have failed to replace the great Xavi, they wont attain European silverwear unless they do. Messi will be working much harder for his $ 645 K a week. He must not like the Italian.

Every FIFA event is Sepp dipshits vanity. I'm not a big fan of the UEFA under 17/19/21 .. really? Can't we just have 1 to showcase the talent.

The infusion of blood money as taken a toll on International football. According to Sportstek Manchester United is the most indebted football club in the world, in the red to the tune of $536 million. I'm not buying it entirely, Putin lackey Roman Abramovich has underwritten Chelsea by $ 1.6 billion. I can uderstand Inter's debt, not being in the CL but Benfica's debt makes no sense.
