Why wouldn't Andorra beat Hungary, she threatened to turn them into newts.

A surprise, England beat Italy in the U-20 semi-final. Not that it really matters, England does a horrible job of developing their prospects after 20.

Rumours have it that Barcelona is interested in Christian Eriksen.
Not sure about that danmand, but it appears Barcelona is going Italian. Marco Verratti was seen partying with Lionel Messi in Ibiza, a complete turnaround from the snubbing the Pescarese got after match 1 vs PSG. Also the strong are about to get stronger, Real Madrid are getting ready to make Gigi Donnarumma the world's most expensive goalkeeper.

One move that has been finalized is the transfer of rising Czech star Patrick Schick from Sampdoria to Juventus. The Zebra's are also on the verge of signing Douglas Costa from Bayern.

The Ibiza pic shown by BeIn Sports appears to be doctored:

Ronaldo supposedly wants out of Madrid because the Spanish government stepped on his little pink toes and accused him of being a tax cheat

I doubt it, Maldini still has a lucrative contract as a pitchman for Emporio Armani, I also an advert for their sunglasses with Tom Hardy.

CR7 is less tolerant about getting dinged than Messi was. Real have put a valuation on him of 400 million Euros - of course Manchester United are going to be crazy enough to pay it.

U-21: Italy vs Denmark, danmand must be looking forward to this. Denmark are going to have problems with the Azzurrini's point man.

400 million Euros is just the transfer fee, I'm sure ManU are more than willing to pay CR7 $1.6 million per game.

Andrea Pirlo started something, Marco Verratti better not get complacent about his place on the Azzurri. Pellegrini and De Marco are more than capable of taking his place. The Danes fought hard and kept the match scoreless in the first half. Petagnia was mostly invisible but he did net the second goal. That's ok, I want him in full Beast Mode for Germany.

To quote Eddie Murphy: "We gonna kill the motherfucker, we gonna kill em".

Italy 1 Germany 0

After the Italians were put to sleep by the Czechs they woke up. Not many teams can play the high press against the Germans and not get punished. The Azzurrini went from certain elimination to group winners.

Semi Finals: Germany vs England, Italy vs Spain.

Sepp Blatter's greed is hitting FIFA hard. Sponsors aren't lining up for the Russia World Cup and the situation could get worse for Qatar. You reap what you sow.

Germany bring their B-team to Confed Cup and still destroy Mexico 4-1

The German 'B' team goes against the Chilean 'A' team and take the Confederations Cup.

Save for a bonehead move by Marcelo Diaz giving the ball away in his own area, Chile pressed hard but it wasn't enough to beat a young 'Die Mannschaft' (which always sound better in English than German) who will be a powerhouse for generations to come.

Kudos to my boy, Ter Stegen!

Germany also won the U21 European Championship as well.

The big question is, did Die Mannschaft Jr sucker in the Azzurrini? Germany and Italy had the disadvantage of 48 hr less rest going into the semi finals. In the last group match, Germany folded up the tent against Italy and lost 1-0. They beat the weaker team England by shootout, Italy went down to 10 men and lost to Spain 3-1.

Kudos to Germany !!!

They took home 2 pieces of silverware this past weekend. I pretty sure they are most proud of the Confederation Cup as they have never won that one before, the under 21 was good as well but let's be honest as it is a cash grab for FIFA.. they both are really. Lol

The Confederation's Cup is Sepp Blatter's vanity tournament. The UEFA U21 started in the 70's, it's a showcase for rising talent.

It's beginning to look like Marco Verratti could be stuck at PSG for another year.

Lionel Messi wouldn't take less money that would have allowed Barca to make the transfer for the distributor. Barca have failed to replace the great Xavi, they wont attain European silverwear unless they do. Messi will be working much harder for his $ 645 K a week. He must not like the Italian.

Every FIFA event is Sepp dipshits vanity. I'm not a big fan of the UEFA under 17/19/21 .. really? Can't we just have 1 to showcase the talent.

The present transfer structure cannot continue as is.

The infusion of blood money as taken a toll on International football. According to Sportstek Manchester United is the most indebted football club in the world, in the red to the tune of $536 million. I'm not buying it entirely, Putin lackey Roman Abramovich has underwritten Chelsea by $ 1.6 billion. I can uderstand Inter's debt, not being in the CL but Benfica's debt makes no sense.
