The Beneluxians are getting used to a new central midfielder. Pellegrini gets better with each game he plays, Roma now has the option of starting Nainggolan as a trequartista again. That's what Spaletti (now Inter's coach) did last season. Barcelona picked the wrong forward last summer, I'll take Gerson over Dembele.

His arrival is too late for the Azzurri but his presence may be enough to salvage Ac Milan's season. He came off the bench two weeks ago and has since scored 3 goals in his last two games. With all the money spent, he's still Da Man for the Rossonieri. His return means the Turkish stiff Calhanohglu sits on the bench, he has a lovely touch on the ball but he plays like Ted Nugent - Hopkins. Black Jack was injured last Christmas and both Milan and the Azzurri went into the doldrums. Not sure if he qualifies for the Europa League, if I were Gennarino I would use him only league play. he's far too valuable to risk on a nothing tournament.
Has Mario Balotelli cleaned up his act? He scored the winning goal against Nantes to move Nice closer to a CL spot. So far he's racked up 9 goals with minimal distribution. Whomever the new manager of the Azzurri is, he going to get consideration. provided he stops wearing his asshole on his sleeve.

Moise Kean appears to be coming out of his funk. He's the first potential superstar born this century. He didn't take it well when Juve loaned him out to Verona. He needed playing time which he may not have gotten at Juventus. He and Mbappe will dominate the next decade.

You hit the nail on the head Phil, Napoli took off after their point man (Milik) got injured. Ac Milan should be set up the same way, Kalinic is too slow to play a diamond. Coutrone and Silva should be up front with either Kassie or Bonaventura as the trequartista, then they'll start winning again.
Napoli have only won the Scudetto twice, and that was because Maradona carried them.

Inter Milan want to bring in Lazio Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij.
