The level he is playing at for his age is nothing short of incredible. As far as European born players I think he's the best of all time. Selanne, Stastny, Lidstrom and Hasek round out the top 5 for me.

Jagr, Selanne, Lidstrom, Salming, Sundin Top Europeans for me. Hasek was good but he benefited by mostly good defensive team structure over his NHL career.

Jagr scored his 736 career goal and is now 5 goals back of Brett Hull and only 19 points back of Gordie Howe all time. A legend and future HHOF.

Jagr scores career goal 742 passes Brett Hull for 3rd all time in goals. Only Wayne and Gordie have more goals. Jagr is just 7 points back of Howe in career points. Amazing!

He is a UFA at the end of the year but I think he comes back to play for at least 1 more year. I guess it depends a bit upon how far the Panthers go in the playoffs. This guy is truly amazing. And it's no coincidence that the Panthers young guns Ekblad, Barkov and Huberdeau are maturing under his tutelage. I'm more of a Jagr fan now than I ever have been.

Leafs could sign him for 1 year as a roster filler but could be a good mentor for younger players (Kadri, JVR, Reilly).

Jagr has passed Howe for 3rd all time career points. If he plays next year he can catch Messier. If he plays another 20 years he can catch Gretzky. LOL!!!

Jagr is a machine...seemingly ageless, but the fact is, he figured out how to be an effective player for his age. He's still a stud on the ice.
