im a sucker for straight forward songs sung with soul and feeling...……..a song with a beginning ,middle and an end...……...BJ Thomas had a string of hits in the late 60,s....this one kinda fell under the radar..i heard it today on Sirius Radio.....a sad but wonderfully constructed song

thanks...…...what did you think of the tune?...….not your genre?
I liked the lyrics. Not something I would listen to honestly but I can appreciate the talent. I am pretty open minded with music but metal is my religion so to speak.

I really like playing this. Course I distort the hell out of it and add phaze lol. Such a fun tune though!

Behemoth, nice, but it's late July.

At this time of the year, I prefer something with sunshine - something from my old study buddy: Josef Haydn. Sunrise Quartet from the Banff Festival.

from an untalented cello player.

Is it in the wrong key or is it supposed to sound like that? Sounds off to me. Maybe it's the recording. You are the expert. Maybe my ear is used to everything dropped a 1/2.

I work out to Metal and to stave of SAD in the cold months. It works better than drugs.

When it comes to classical music, I'm a Salieri not an expert. The Sunrise is in the expansive G Major key.

Ok something was throwing me off. I listened again and got the signature and key. I have to adjust my brain to classical, I have a built in phobia to some of it.

Hobbs is GOAT to me personally! I still can't switch from gallops to pigeon picking at his speed (nevermind the divebombs) without sounding muddy. I sat down with him for 10 mins at NAMM..he blew my mind.

Joe Jackson has always been a personal favorite, his voice is still strong.

Weird plastic surgery, the song starts at 3:20.
