Freaked me out when I first heard it, especially when the rooster crows. Good one CM.
I don't play The Talking Heads: Fear of Music that often. It's one of the few albums I must listen to from beginning to end, awesome is too mild a word for it.
The 70's ended with a roar. Fear of Music, ZZtop's Deguello and Pink Floyd's The Wall where all released in the last quarter of 1979.
Releasing Another Brick in the Wall as a single, took away most of it's power. It has to be heard with its preludes.
Without the bridge, the ending doesn't make sense....if you don't take your meat you can't have any pudding.
