Did anyone else watch the W5 documentary on Wynne last night?
I wanted to vomit after watching it, knowing how her (and her predecessor) have driven this once great province into the ground. Too much emotional touchy feely shit with her wife.
And the big portion of the programme was about the person responsible for borrowing money on behalf of the province. Fucking sad, the guy responsible says "there, I just borrowed 650 million in about 30 seconds" like its Monopoly money ffs.
This province owes so much money (more than the state of California with a population of 35 million) that we are mortgaging our grand children's futures. Even the clown in charge of borrowing states matter of factly how Ontario has been downgraded for creditworthiness like it was no big deal
Metrostinx (UP Express), Ornge, Gas plants, ehealth, public sector raises, this province is doomed. The only working people in this Province who are set are public sector workers and I use this classification loosely (utility employees, teachers, healthcare, first responders, municipal government, police, lcbo employees etc). Everybody else is committed to a life of indentured servitude.
Rant over
Peace out
