I was a store buying a last min gift for a friend... Small token with a card.
Three scratch tickets left in the tray of the one I had my eye on

The guy in front buys one, the next girl buys one... I take the last one.

The first guy scratches and wins big, I can't recall but I think it was 500 k.

The gift scratch that I bought resulted in nothing, but I would have felt pissed if I had given him that winning ticket

I won 20 million from a nice man in Somalia. He emailed me with the information, all that I had to do was send him $3500 to process my winnings, my social security number and my bank account number! I can't wait for my 20 million dollar check to arrive!

A middle aged (35-40) electrician in the Bayview-Sheppard Shell station won 50 million few years ago. The guy who worked there and I know him for years , push him to buy ticket at Friday night at 8.30pm. when the guy filled up his truck. He was a regular client there. The bet is stopped at 9pm. those days. He didn't want to buy because, as he told the attendant it is very expensive(a real cheapo) but he pushed him hard so finally he bought one 5$ LottoMax( second time in his life). An hour later he was a millionare. Few days later he came back to the station, and gave the guy 1000$ cash as a thank you....lol. A months later he came back ( maybe he realized how cheapskate he was ) and give him a 10K cheque. I don't know. The gas station guy changed his life forever. He made a millionare from a cheap bastard, but I always tought the 10K wasn't fair. 10K don't change your life, 10K don't do anything. If it's me I would have been more generous. Not millions but between 300-500K to help him to have a better life and say him : Hey buddy, you changed my life so I changed yours now and .....................................

$120 on 649. Funny thing was, I cashed in the ticket as I was checking out groceries and the food total was $119.75! Weirdest coincidence of my life.
