Most things are non-issues until they become issues.

Escorting isn't an easy job. Would the stress exacerbate the condition?

The timing of this is unreal, had a session in a Barrie MP last night and half way through the session the MPA got really aggressive verbally, then changed totally describing the "Fun" she offered in the middle of the extras she took a 180 turn again. I got dressed and left, unbelievable! Phoned the spa and told the owner what had happened, will never be back. pm for location.

We have so many choices in great women, if I learned one was bi-polar I'd tend to see someone else. We all make quick judgments like this, I don't think it's offensive to be discriminating in this way.

It might be of interest to some to know one of the most well known, prolifically posting SP's from years ago has bi-polar disorder and did exceptionally well as this was something she genuinely enjoyed and found it much more manageable to do this rather then have a 9-5.

I am not saying it is going to go as well for another but I do not think it is something to be disclosed, discussed, etc.

I won't disclose who it was. Speculation is futile as well... I simply share because you asked.

If you knew an escort had bipolar disorder would you change your mind about seeing her? I'm just curious if clients care about this or not. Thanks for your thoughts.
I have seen many who had drug problems that were less fun than women who have bipolar disorder. As someone who has suffered through clinical depression for much of my life, I empathise with people who suffer through these things. Yes, 'normal' depression and bipolar disorder are different. But, we are all human beings and have strengths associated with our weaknesses.

Of course, I would, as long as she can reasonably control her illness, why not! It is not that difficult to take care of ones self. If that lady is you, I think that you are brave and strong enough to do it.

In my experience, women in general are bipolar, so an SP being bipolar never surprises me.

Bipolar people are like regular people, you would never know unless they told you. Personally, I wouldn't care.

Unless you were a regular customer and someone that the SP felt very comfortable around, how would the average person even find out. The only people I new were bi polar or manic I was very close to. I would still see the person if they were bi polar.

It's the same thing whether the person is bipolar, diabetic, or has a thyroid deficiency - it's a chemical imbalance in the body. Untreated, seeing anybody with any of these disorders would not be wise. Treated, go for it!

Excellent question. I've done mood charts for myself over the years and looked at what triggered each episode. I've realized it is specifically serious emotional stress that aggravates my condition. I am able to handle physical and environmental stress quite well, however. For some unknown reason, the type of stress is important for me.
In the overall management of my disorder I have taken steps to reduce stress in my life which include daily exercise, healthy diet and avoiding conflict.

While escorting can be stressful, I am careful about my clients. I have declined people I feel would be difficult to handle, never see clients again if they disrespect me, stick to my ground rules, do independent work only and primarily work incall b/c I relax more in my comfy personal space. I find these things make escorting less stressful for me. I never work when ill. If I feel an episode approaching I turn my phone off and don't go back to work until I'm well again. The flexible hours and schedule of escorting is really great for me.

I appreciate all the contributions to this blunt discussion.

I have a friend who says she is bipolar. But she is one of the most level headed people I know. She is on some medication. So if you are getting proper treatment, I don't think it is an issue in any way.

Dear Lady, you have control over your life, much more than many 'regular' people have. It would be an honour and a pleasure to see you!

Oh thank you. Its nice to hear some positivity amongst the fear.

The control took a long time to gain, but its good to have and I intend to keep it. I won't say I have full 100% control, but probably 75%. Who has full control of their lives anyway?? Sleeping and racing thoughts are still a struggle for me at times. The main thing is that impulsivity is under control. Pro-active management is the key. I'm very lucky to have a couple family members who recognize when I'm swinging and they're good at helping me get grounded again.

Surprisingly escort work has been very beneficial for me. I think for 2 reasons:

1) The freelance aspect of it is so appropriate for me. There are not many jobs that you can just ignore for 2 weeks and expect to walk back into without any explanations or repercussions. Independent escorts get unlimited sick leave, lol!!

2) The financial aspect of escorting really motivates me to keep stable. When not working due to a mood swing I'm losing money. After adding up what my last episode cost me it was a real wake up call.

So contrary to what many terbies think, they (my clients) are actually helping me maintain my healthy lifestyle. I'm using them. How about that perspective.

Heard she's crazy in bed!
Hypersexuality is a symptom of hypomania and mania. Its probably the main reason I became, and enjoy, being an escort.
Wether or not thats true about Alanis Morrissette I don't know. But she will go down on you in a theatre, so...

I think it is 100% alright to bang an escort with a mental illness such as bipolar disorder. As long as the SP is attractive and good looking, I'd even fuck a girl with schizophrenia. However, I would never date or want to be an a relationship with any girl with a known mental illness.
