Basically, the scammers take a few hundred bucks from the wanna-be-pornstar as an "administrative / portfolio" fee or whatever but that wanna-be-pornstar never gets paid to be on film. In fact, the article stated that men that wanted to star in a film had to pay a few thousand dollars to be in one. Beware.

There is a high probability that this ad is run like the LOVENOW "casting" scam that the Toronto Sun's Mike Stroebel exposed a few years ago. Basically, the scammers take a few hundred bucks from the wanna-be-pornstar as an "administrative / portfolio" fee or whatever but that wanna-be-pornstar never gets paid to be on film. In fact, the article stated that men that wanted to star in a film had to pay a few thousand dollars to be in one. Beware.

So why is it that there is always somebody who has to bash things when you don't know the details. Did you call the number to find out information. Have we scammed anyone that you know of? Don't be voicing your opinions unless you know the facts.

Once bitten, twice shy. Think about it...if you're grocery shopping would you pick up a carton of eggs if even one was bad? We tend to generalize anything into the worst case scenerio after these types of scandals come out, and this would be seen in a similar way.

I've been in the business 5 years, and I've never heard of you either! lol Seriously, if they pay you for a shoot, wtf difference does it make? I find it really funny that whenever somebody posts something on this board about porn videos, everybody becomes an expert on the "industry". There are loads of people out there who make it on the side, and get contracts to produce content for one thing or another, and sure, many don't last long, but again, wtf difference does that make? It's hardly suspicious. Three-quarters of the porn biz in this country is pretty much underground.

absolutely right amwbt, In fact I've been in the business in and out for over 12 yrs and I've never heard of minneigirl or whoever...! But i've produced a hell of alot of footage and tons of girls made a few extra bucks. Dancers, escorts, college types, and yes even housewives.
With the boom of the adult internet, there is a demand for quality digital content.
as long as they pay is the key phrase here.

would you prefer wearing a mask?

2. You need to go to a doctor to get tested- all results must come negative.

3. Your photo shoot must be taken/ they want to see how you look
model is also in a photo shoot

All the costs in total will come around $500.00

4. Now if they choose YOU' to be in a film they will call you

5. Not everyone they will accept!

And the next part is they come up with a contract for you to be the leading man in a new film (without having seen you perform or act), but there is this small matter of a few grand (about $5k) you have to cough up to help "finance" the film. Of course it is all watertight, you'll even get a whole bunch of copies of the film (if it ever gets made).

You don't have $5k laying around? no problem, we can do it on your credit card!

And the best line, "Sylvester Stallone got hs start in movies this way, he also "helped finance" his first movie".

If you want to blow your money and get scammed, go right ahead. Remember to think with your big head first though. If you are an (slightly?) overweight, middle aged guy, what chance do you really think you have of being a porno star without having had a real audition?

For any male wanting to get into the biz, save the administration fees/costs, whatever, and go videotape yourself with 10 of your closest friends watching. If they don't manage to laugh your oak tree into a willow, you'll get hired at any one of the major production houses, bar none. Just send them the tape.

Make sure it's a continuous master shot with no cuts and be sure to pan around the room to show your audience.

Nobody should have to pay for the opportunity to work in adult productions. PERIOD.

I actually went down there to find out want it was about. You are right before you could be in a movie you had to take pictures so they could send to the company in the U.S , the cost was around $ 700- 1000 naturally I didn't bother I smelled their scam.
