For the visitor to southern Ontario, it is very important to get a road map first and foremost. Get one with small maps of the cities included. The endless twists and turns that our roads and streets take, not to mention the inanity of our freeway system, for example, try the bumper to bumper funeral crawl on the 401 east or west of Yonge Street during the day or night and you can be easily frustrated and filled with road rage in a New York minute.
A map to the Falls is important because one can easily fall into a loop driving through Niagara Falls and see the same gas station several times. The traffic is heavy and congested most of the time. Sundowners and Seductions are on Lundy's Lane, a very busy road.
Although I have travelled extensively for many years in southern Ontario, I still lose my bearings momentarily at times. I would hate to see a visiting hobbyist hopelessly lost in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere, in the rain, looking for a massage parlour that is actually many kilometres away in a different town.
