Please don't take this as an accusation or an angry note from me, I'm really asking out of curiousity.

The cops who arrested my pimp told me they recieved an email from someone who said they think there's another girl he was running - how on earth thats possible when I was LIVING with him and there saw no hint of this is beyond me. But apparently they managed to find her and she won't testify but she's giving what information she can. Now the question is, where did this email come from? That's why I haven't been posting... You see the only think I can figure out is someone on HERE saw her, read my posts and emailed them... but that doesn't make sense either... I'm confuzzled.

If the person who emailed them IS from here and is reading this please send me a private message I'd like to speak with you! And I sware I won't tell the cops your handle or anything... I just really have some questions I need answered...

Thank you

Wanting to deliver the 'goods'
I have to agree with Fridrik...

The email either came from an associate of his.

Either someone he pissed off or possibly one of the clients of the other lady, assuming she knew about you.

As for Ripped's suggestion that the email addy, once disclosed by the Crown, will help in determining who is responsible...that may not be the case.

Although the crown will have to produce the email, if the individual was smart and wished to remain unknown it will have come from a hotmail/yahoo account of some type. The Crown may not be required to have the author of the email testify in court.

As for it possibly being a poster from TERB - I think that is unlikely because you have stated in previous posts that you are out of the business and as Fridrik stated there is no indication from you of another lady.

In the end if it results in things being better for you than GREAT!!!!

curious ...

Ripped said:
Mail coming from a "hotmail/yahoo account of some type" doesn't allow you to "remain unknown". Unless the person who sent it knows what they're doing, it can be traced to the ISP account with little effort.
if you set up an account at a public terminal ... how can YOU be traced?

i am also curious about someone who would email the police with a complaint? is this a common way to contact police? i wouldn't know about how to email the police - i would make a 911 call if i wanted to make a report ...

that being said ... any idea how overworked the Crown Attorney's office is ...? i doubt that it is would be their priority to track down an anonymous 'do-gooder' who reported an under age girl ... it may deter others from coming forward ...

and there are limits to the disclosure that the Crown is required to provide ...

from a public terminal...a school, library etc. You can make up new email accounts and use them only there...

The EMAIL is NOT Evidence...

and hence doesn't fall under the rules of disclosure. It is easy to make a lay mistake like this..it comes from watching too much TV. The email falls under the category of confidential informants. I am certain that within your legal system confidential informants are protected. If not, it begs the question as to why anyone would be motivated to help. The police routinely investigate a case based on information obtained from confidential informants. The Crown will substantiate the charges independent of the anonymous tip. They do this by the direct testimony of those involved, surveillance, items found with legal search warrant at the accused residence, etc. The email is thus rendered moot as it has no probative value to the establish that a crime has been committed. If they are able to identify the individual who wrote the email, his or her testimony would be "hear-say" and not admissible in court since apparently the offense in question was not committed against the sender of that email. The testimony would be permissilbe if the informant was present at an incident where the defendent committed the offenses in question. Mere statements of "she told me that he was"...he said/she said.. and that is enough said.
