correct me if i am wrong but didnt she spend her last days fighting the porn industry?? i have little patience for that movement that says that it exploits women, anyone who has had a wife or girlfriend who enjoyed porn will know what i am talking about here.
linda boreman ("linda lovelace") claimed that her first husband forced her into pornography at gun point.
she testified at congressional hearings that she was never paid a penny for "deep throat" ~ and that her husband was paid only $1,250 ~ although the movie grossed an estimated $600 million.
ummm ... perhaps living a life of violence, rape, forced prostitution and involvement in pornography against her will led to her crusade against the industry?
just a thought ...
i did see the following quotation that may put things in a little more perspective,
"I look in the mirror and I look the happiest I've ever looked in my entire life," she said in a 1997 interview. "I'm not ashamed of my past or sad about it. And what people might think of me, well, that's not real. I look in the mirror and I know that I've survived."
