A conversation with a friend this afternoon lead me to this post,
We have been friends for probably 12 years, we agree on a lot of things, disagree on a lot as well,
When it comes to women, we pretty much have the same taste in body type, size, looks etc, however, there is a slight difference of opinion that we continue to agree we will never agree on! When it comes to the “PHM”, or pubic hair management, I prefer the heavy trimmed to shaved look, he prefers the natural look, & I mean natural, the less trimming the better for him. (We’re totally opposite here)
So as a result, I figured I’d try to do 2 polls, this one is “what category do you think the average woman fits into” exclude ladies in the adult entertainment business, include only what you think the general population of sexually active ladies are.
The second poll is the same as the first, however, yuo will vote on your preferred style
Ladies, feel free to cast your vote & opinions!

The categories are;

Au natural (no trimming at all, no bikini lines, no navel areas, nada!

Slightly trimmed (includes minor trimming of bikini lines, naval area, some cropping of the length)

Trimmed (more major trimming of the bikini area, narrowing/ lowering the area, trimming the length to a more (lawnmower) look, but maintaining a “natural look “

Heavily trimmed—very aggressive trimming, can include partially shaving the labia area,( but not totally shaved), changing the shape (hearts, diamonds, Mohawks etc) , very shortly cropped

Shaved----- Brazilian ,nothing there, nada

When you say average woman

actually i was thinking of excluding Sp's, Mp,s and was thinking more along the lines of ladies not involved in the adult entertainment business and getting an idea of how others tend to themselves below

Near and dear to my heart

This is a subject that is near and dear to my heart!! I guess for me PHM is a huge issue. Maybe it is because I was married to a woman 19 years that was totally natural, even to the point where there would be some dark curly ones sticking out from her bathing suit. To me that was just nasty.

Since I am totally into DATY, I love a woman that is well groomed down below. To me that is a signal of a woman's sexuality and her desire for DATY. And, since most men prefer grooming, I feel that women that do are being more responsive to a man's desires.

There are women's popular magazines that discuss this issue (eg Cosmo), so women do have access to men's preferences. A woman I had recently dated read this in Cosmo and decided to trim. I was thrilled because I was reluctant to bring the subject up for fear that she would feel pressured into doing something she didn't want to do. This woman also swtiched from panties to thongs, also on her own, again something I was very happy about.

As far as the percentage of regular women that "trim" I think the number is rising all the time. I would guess that it is probably around 40-50%, probably higher for younger women.

When I am with my friends and we are talking about women one of my favorite questions to ask is "Do you think she trims?". That question always starts a lively debate and discussion. IMHO I think that women that groom tend to be, as a rule, more sexual. Sometimes you just know that they do. Sometimes it is harder to tell. And sometimes there is the Sunday school teacher type that totally shave and wear thongs that just shocks the hell out of you.

I also have this theory about shaving that I would love some feedback on. I think that there is a strong correlation between women that do up their nails and PHM. That is, I believe that women that have nice nails are much more likely to "groom". And, if this is true, all you would have to do is check out those nails and you would have a good idea of how things are likely to look down below. Although, this is just a theory... yet to be proven. Can you help me prove my theory????

ltlredvett I tend to agree with you on your post in many ways, I can relate to your coments
I to would agree that the younger ones are more into trimming/shaving, althogh it is becoming more common in older ladies as well
I had some lap dances a while ago with a pretty , young attractive girl, I commented on her "barbering" techniques below,(wich i quite often do) and she told me that she had pretty much shave since puberty, she went on to say that when she was entering into puberty, she hated the thought of growing hair down there, she thought , yuk, i dont want that!

with respect to women having pretty nails & trimming, i think there is a connection, but it goes beyond that, a woman that feels good about her self & wants to look attractive will tend to her whole body, finger/toe nails, pubic patch, makeup, hair, etc.

Here's my 2 cents

I hate the shaved look. I love hairy muffs, the bigger the better. Especially if its black. The thought of driving my face into that thick black triangular growth drives me wild. I wonder tho - I prefer older ladies, at least 35 plus. I wonder if there's a a correlation between age you are interested in and amount of hair you want as well. To me , hairless makes me feel like I'm with a pre-pubescent girl, which completely turns me off. I'd love an Italian 40 year old with a thick muff, big huge nips, big arse and a bossy attitude.
