I want honesty...

I am at the point where I only need to load the new pics... And then it is finished...

So what do you think so far...???

I avoided flaash because I know it causes problems for some... Infact... I have avoided most things like that as I want it to be simple yet memorable.

Any way this is almost done and I wanted to share.

Well, I'm biased, so I'm not going to be able to give an entirely objective opinion. Great to see new pictures of you and all the new information. My only complaint is the pop-ups, which on geocitiies is probably unavoidable. When I get to Toronto I'll make sure to get a hotel room with a jacuzzi so we can share. Nice site.

ok...

It is fixed for now...

Hope that stays that way for a while...

Oh and you want to talk about paying for a site eh?

I have registered three domain names in the past and found out the company had done multiple registrartions therefore.. No Domain... Grrrrr.

Thanks for the information.

Ok... Lets make this cut and dried...

I am out close to 500$ for registering sites already.

I am in the process of moving at the end of the month, just paid for a very nice new computer... Its not happening this month... Sorry.

It is one of the things that will have to wait... I have not been able to work all the time because I have been trying to work around class... This was supposed to make spending money for me but it is costing a lot more then it is bringing in, in some ways.

LMAO

I did... But see the thing is... I got tired of fighting with all of them. I have better ways to waste my time. lol.

I gave up fighting it because at the time I figured it was na acceptable loss... But it is now... That I am looking back and going... Damn... I should have done more.

It has tought me this though... I don't use my credit cards for anything anymore... So that option is out... They might even have to offer to pay me to get me to use the damn things.

And here's where I look like a geek and point out a very minor spelling mistake. Page 2, point after the rules. An "n" is missing from mainly...

I'm not a geek ....honest!!!!

It looks very nice, but I find comet cursers very annoying. I don't know if anyone else feels the same way.

I also find the curser trail a little distracting. And a few other points, minor and just my opinion:

- on date_listings.html there is a spelling error in the first section of text "MENT" is missing the "a".
- the link to "Main Page" from pic_page_four.html goes back to the "Enter" page where I think it should link to Jenns_page.html.

- I find that navigation is a little confusing, for instance "Page 4" goes to pic_page_one and "Page 5" goes to pic_page_two, etc. Maybe they should be labelled a little differently to describe what the page is about.

- on pic_page_one.html your link to 'Rules Page and links to other pages' overlaps with your sign off 'Kisses, Ciao, Jenn' (at least when viewed in IE 6.0)

If I were designing the site I would put in a consistant menu of links, meaning list them on all pages and label them so the viewer knows what page they are loading and what the content is. I also find the font sizes too large on some of the pages, but that's just my preference, I prefer smaller fonts. I know some people like large font sizes.

Otherwise looks good, nice pictures. :)

Ok...

Thank you for the input I will make the changes...

What is happening with the site is that I am editing my old one and changing it over... I will see about a constant menu... The problem I have found with this is it over laps which you found elsewhere. If I insert tabs instead of text links the information can overlap on certain systems and it drives me nuts.

I use a very high grade computer system when I am doing this so I don't run into these problems... I wll attempt to make more changes today if I have time.

Now about page 2... The reason it is not on there is... The rules page is page two... The original links had it set up as such.

Thanks so far keep it comming. Please keep in mind I have been doing this when taking a break from home work... lol

Oh and one more thing...

The cursor...

I was originally going to take it out... But as I only have it on one page I decided to leave it... The percentage of people who like it is the same as the people who don't.

It has been mentioned more times then I can count.

I think the problem with the overlaps is caused by the absolute positioning you are using in the pages. You don't need to use that. Maybe the Yahoo page builder puts that code in for you if you didn't intentionally put it in. When I build a web page (and I do at work) I write the code from scratch and avoid such problems. There are some nice menu scripts you can get around the web also that you might want to look at. Do a search on DHTML scripts and you'll find some.

The computer you're using doesn't really have much to do with how the page is displayed, other than the resolution settings for your monitor/display. What can make a difference is the varying browser versions that your customers and site visitors may be using.

Anyway, I'm heading south in couple of hours and will look in on your changes sometime towards the end of next week. Good luck Jenn.

Revolver is Cuba bound for a week of sunshine and beaches... :D
