That was the most disgusting article I ever read! That they even put that in the paper shows how low their standards truly are!

Generally people who are victimized aren't "aching for new experiences". If "economics" were her only concern there are plenty of other ways to make extra money in this world.

To refuse to call herself a prostitute only proves her own delusions and how self-motivated the article was. It was psychological masterbation! Every other escort there was guilty save herself - she's apparently better than that! Right

And what "middle-class" agency forces the GIRL pay the driver for each run, doesn't screen the clients themselves, and sends girl on her first call to a house with TWO men. Its more than obvious she was just making a poor attempt to justify her actions and seeking approval from all the readers, no matter how filtered with lies her words were.

It was in todays Toronto Star, front page (certainly not worthy of the location). A cheap tactic at selling papers which resulted in doing nothing more than lowering its integrity - they have absolutely no interest in giving people a true perspective on anything - which makes me question how accurate their other articles are. I for one will not be reading that paper again.

Can you tell us a bit more about the article? Like when it was published?
Check my post earlier today on the subject.

I don't know if the article is 100% true or not, but I have used Touch of Class. I was a new hobbyist and thought that was just the way it was done.

I know everytime I called, they would page all the ladies with my info (what i was looking for and my phone #) , and I would start getting calls directly from the girls. the girls would negotiate price, service etc.

So from my point of view, her story, at least that part of it, seems to be kosher with my experiences.

DOG, are you the self proclaimed authority on the business in toronto? I'm asking because instead of offering opinions, you come across very strong, and very judgemental. Not just in this thread, but in some of your earlier posts.

No I'm not a self proclaimed authority, and I don't really claim to be, if I state my opinon strongly its because I believe it strongly - but that's not to say I am not open to discussion and have never admitted I'm wrong. Actually before I started talking to some people from this site via e-mail I had a strong distaste for any client of any agency - but realized how truly hypocritical that is. After all, there are girls that enjoy it, and I had me about 5 cients whom I highly respect. I mean I always hold to the belief nothing is black and white, but hating clients for being clients implies the opposite. Compared to people who have never come into close contact with the industry, I think everyone on here is an authority on the subject.

I do, however, strongly believe ANY agencie that knowingly hires underage girls should be shut down it. I don't think I can really be blamed for that. And that's really the only point I'd argue to my grave, anything else I'm open to change if provided with good reason to think so.

I'm trying hard to find a way to describe this without sounding like I'm dumping on you.

I'll apologise now and just say what my first reaction to your statement is:

you must be a reporter, john law or the stupidest SOB on the planet.

If you got calls like that what did you call em back for?

doesn't the word greed fit in there somewhere?

That article put me in mind of that Tina Turner song, "Dancer for Money". The lyrics speaks of her revulsion for the men that would and do pay to see her body. Next she is saying, "She just wants to make a million dollars". She is so honourable...the are so repulsive. As Pogo Possum would say, "I's regusted".

Don't get me wrong, I am in no way saying that the agency wasn't wrong. I think that anyone who employs underage girls, or treats the girls poorly, should be put out of business. ( in terms of underage, should be busted)

I was stating my experience with Touch of Class. At that point, I didn't know any better, I thought all agencies were like that. For a while I thought that there was only one agency in toronto, since everyone I called was answered by the same person.

I hated the experience. Terb has been great in allowing me to find out about sp's that better form to what exactly I am looking for.

Let's face it. The article was a badly written rant published by a self-righteous paper (which more often than not, finds itself on the losing end of the Big Issues.) No attempt at journalism was even made. No courage was displayed by the publication. It is the sort of piece that one expects to find on photocopied powder blue sheets and distributed at downtown street corners by Christian youth imported from for the summer from Dryden. I've read more balanced escort articles in 'Cosmopolitan'.
