They are now behind in the polls again & they are up to their usual pre-election rhetoric & vote buying.If you have looked at today's Star(liberal rag),it says the Liberals areeasing up on the immigration restictions again,if it wasnt for the immigrants in the 416,the liberals wouldnt have won the last election or as many since Trudeau open the flowgates back in the 70s.If it wasnt for the Polish vote in my riding,Jesse Flis or Samite Bulte would never have won,Ms Bulte is a stiff,she rode the coattails of Flis(another liberal backbenching stiff) when he finally retire from office & got his golden parachute retirement.
When it comes to election time again dont but into the liberals scare tactic this time of a conservative hidden agenda,Harper has been an exceptional leader & remember Adscam,Gun registry,Kyoto & other boondoggles the liberals have been found quilty of wasting OUR money on.

Oh brother :rolleyes:. And Mulroney's conservatives haven't wasted OUR money? Give your head a shake. What the Liberals are doing now is typical of any party, regardless of party affilliation. It's called politics cuban. What is also politics is putting candidates in ridings where they stand a better chance of winning the riding. Harper does the same thing. As does Duceppe and that former toronto city councilor who calls himself a federal party leader.

My glass is full to the brim thank you.

Just because I don't like a bunch of thieves spending the $20,000. I paid in income tax last year on useless world trips etc, etc, etc don't mean my glass is only half full.

My point is this: No matter whom you vote in they all do the same. They start to squander the money away on useless BS. Take very expensive trips to nowhere for no reason. Pay $5,000. for $50. ads. Upgrade their offices to the tune of $100,000. Grand each. Buy $400. bottles of wine for lunch... etc... I'm sure you get the picture. Right now the opposition is complaining that the government in power is doing all the above. In the next election the opposition will get in power and then they will do the same things they were saying the other guys were doing. No matter who gets in power... my cost of living will go up, up, up. The laws and regulations will stay pretty much the same so that nobody will have much improvement in their lives. Crack dealers, pimps and terrorist will still flock here by the hundreds. If we catch them we will send them to club fed. What do you think if next election anything will be different if we elect another party? NOT. It will still remain all the same.

And my point is that is your perception. I didn't say your glass was half full. I said it was half empty. It's all in how one percieves it. While I do admit that there are some deceiptful politicians and have their own agenda, there are some good souls in there. In any profession there are dishonest people. The politicians stand out because its a public job where the media hound them at every step. Try their job for a day. The media has alot to do with the negative perception of how we view politicians. Nobody holds the media accountable on shaping our views, when in fact the only reason media report negative stories on politicians is to serve their own self interest agenda that has nothing to do with the issue at hand regardless of the policy. Why don't we see reports on how dishonest and caniving the media is?

Yah... it's all good. The GG never spent over a $million$ to go to Russia for nothing. The press just made all that up to get headlines. Our armed forces personal are not dying in their crashed old outdated helicopters while the powers that be fly around first class in new jets. That's just in our imaginations. Every time I pay GST it's just a bad dream. It's not really happening at all for real.

Now having said... don't get me wrong... I still love Canada and would not want to live anywhere else. But my point being that to me it seems that it don't really matter who is in power. It's still all the same shit... just different color sometimes.

Almost everyday, I hear on radios, in subways, talks such as quoted above. All you people do is complain. The point of having a democratic system is that we can find out about the problems and try to fix it. The probems has not been fixed does not mean they will never be fixed. By taking your attitude, they will never be fixed and eventually get worse.
