I find there's somthing about the liberal use of uppercase for emphasis that inspires skepticism. Doesn't help that the writer quotes without documenting his sources. But looks like fun stuff if you enjoy conspiracy stories.

Sorry, but this is absolute crap. Most ridiculous is the reference to "Colonel Lindbergh", "national hero and proposed as a candidate for the presidency." Charles Lindbergh nearly destroyed his reputation as national hero by his contacts with Nazi Germany before the war, his belief that Nazi might was unstoppable, and by his call for appeasement once war had begun. After 1942 he spent the balance of the war as a civilian airforce consultant in the Pacific. Roosevelt barred him from serving as an officer during the war, saying he wouldn't have a man who was convinced he was going to lose, lead other men. Lindbergh was nowhere near Germany in 1945 to know what was going on during the occupation.

..part of your message I do not know about, I do know though that Lindbergh did in fact serve the last couple of years in the pacific theatre. So your lack of knowledge in this part leads me to question your knowledge on the whole part.

This theory of Patton having been assassinated has been floating around for years. Patton and men in his position make many enemies along the way. Who knows if there is any truth to it, anything is possible here.

..that was kind of my point, I am not argueing the veracity of the article, I am saying we can never really be sure and in many ways it would make sense. Patton thought the real enemy was the Communists and he had placed many former Nazis in postions of power. Perhaps he was being a little too vocal in his opposition.

There were lots of Americans who were very very pro-Nazi.

Henry Ford for one.

Dupont for another

Prescott Bush for a third (yes W's grand daddy)

Hell, even Disney was Hitler bum boy.
