Saskatchewan Joins the Gimmee group

I think that this just shows how badly Martin has screwed up the equalization file. First, he makes a bad promise to Danny Williams during the election. Then when even a reasonable interpretation of that promise is not enough for Danny (who I think behaved in a very disgusting fashion when he ordered Canadian flags lowered) he agrees to not only sweetened the deal but to agree to give NL equalization even if its fiscal capacity exceeds Ontario. That being said, I don’t know how he could justify not giving the same deal to Saskatchewan (and other provinces). What reason would there be for giving NL and NS special treatment? The fact that Newfoundlanders have cute accents?
