I put a similar post in the Ottawa section, but want a T.O. perspective. i'm heading to Ottawa early next week for a few days. i'll be staying downtown and would like to know of any stripclubs nearby. pretty girls and decent milege interest me. any help is appreciated. also, any regular good bars downtown that are happening?

I have always had a good time, and been impressed by the girls and laps, at the downtown clubs, especially BareFax. Not sure why some guys think they are lame. I've had as much fun there as at the trinity.
Bare Fax, which is in the "market" area....short walk from almost any of the downtown hotels. The only downside there is lack of privacy, but that is my own opinion. The girls however are GORGEOUS, and the service is great. Long time bartender there is Carmen, who takes very good care of you if you drop a nice tip with your first drink.
The sister club is Pigale, which is a $10.00 or so cab over the bridge to Gatineau. Mileage is VERY high, girls just as gorgeous, LOTS of privacy. Look for Callie, or Chrissy, both housegirls who have been there for years, both used to work Toronto years ago, in fact lived here.
Also the NuDen.....also in the market, which is perahps a notch below Bare Fax, but better in terms of discretion on the part of the waitstaff, and privacy (you can tell these are biggies with me).
The beauty of the clubs in the market area is the "walkability" to the downtown hotels., and the fact that if you have a post club hunger going, there are many great places to pick up a snack or have a nightcap while you have one.

Ottawa is a SC lover dream!
I love SCs and travel across Canada. Ottawa is my all time favourite place for SC and well above any other Canadian City(yes even the Missassauga clubs).
Diamonds is in walking distance to the hotels like the Crown Plaza. Small club but has not recovered since they lost their liquor license in January 2005 for two weeks for selling drinks to minors. I was there last weekend and the guys outnumbered the girls almost ten to one. There were up to two songs between girls. Last fall it was one of my usual haunts but now give it a 6-7 and the girls a 7 with a couple of 9's. Open until 2 AM.
Bare Fax, in the Market, is the party place. The girls are generally all 8's & above and the girls will proudly tell you this fact too. I also love the variety of dancers. In one night, I went to the CR room with a dominatrix, quiet girl next door style, and PSE who moaned all through the CR sessions. The CR is upstairs and YMMV depending on dancer and where they take you in the CR. From the Servers, Strippers, down to the bouncers, they work hard to make sure you have a good time. I was there weekly in January and open until 2 AM.
The two other notable clubs are over the bridge to Gatineau, Pigales and Taboo, which are open until 3 AM.
Pigales is owned by the same guy who owns the Barefax. Everytime I have been there, there are always tons of dancers working and the stage shows are best of all the clubs. There is a feature almost every busy night with one being Sheena De Jinaro who used to be in TO and was on that show Private Parties. I have never been disappointed in the CR which are generally private. Some will say Mileage is high but as with any club, YMMV. Oh if Mariah reads this, I love you!
Taboo is across the street from Pigales. The club us more like Diamonds you either like or you don't. I have been there once for the drink spevials and went across the street to Pigales. I do have friends who loves it and are there often. One guy likes to hang out and finds the girls are not as uptight like the ones at Pigales. I was not disappointed in the CR which are private. I will be going back thanks to comments by "T".
There are other clubs in Ottawa and in the Market but I hold on to all my belongings and fear the LE in the other market Club. Previous poster mentioned NuDen but I think that club is in Ottawa South and farther than Pigales or Taboo by Taxi. Due to bylaw change in that area, they had to change the CR set up. It was the High mileage CR club until the change.
