Terror suspect released - no charges

They couldn't prove anything against this "terror suspect" so they release him. which is good- but then he has to wear a monitor braclet, respect a curfew and not use the internet, unless its for porn. anyone else think there is something wrong with this.

This case got big coverage around here (Montreal). It seems that the AQ cell's home in Astan no longer exists, this and, given the passage of time, the courts decided on a conditional release. Conspicuous in its absence from the linked article is the long list of persons Charkaoui is forbidden to contact and furthermore, he may face deportation.
