The other thread about bbfs reminded me of a question I've always wondered about and another lady touched upon in the other thread.
What did you do before AIDS and condoms? Sounds naive doesn't it?
To give you a little background here, I have always had a hypersensitive sense of smell. Seriously, I can smell petunias 10 feet away from me. One thing I have never liked is the smell of semen. Granted some people have a stronger scent than others but with many men I have found it almost nauseating.
For this reason I have always used condoms for sex. I have found they contain the odour quite nicely and help avoid that sloppy feeling afterwards. Because of my age, I have never known a world without AIDS, so sex has always been with condoms. The few times I have gone without (only in my personal life) I have had a heck of a time trying to get it out of me, and to get rid of the smell.
Now I know that someone will pop up and say douches, but I have a hard time believing that a woman can douche several times in a day, day in and day out, without running into problems.
When I say this, I am thinking of brothels where it wasn't uncommon to see 8 - 10 men per day, especially in the back in the early 80's, their business was based on volume more so than now.
I know there's going to be a couple of guys who won't really understand what I am getting at. Perhaps I should explain that douches can be really irritating and they destroy the vagina's natural lubrication, which also makes us more susceptable to disease. Also frequent douching leads to yeast infections and/or bacterial vaginosis for most women because it upsets the pH balance.
I've never been able to use them more than once a week without getting a yeast infection. Instead I've relied on condoms and washing afterwards with a mild cleanser. Still it seems to me that it wouldn't work for days when you, uh, need a deeper cleansing.
So how did you get rid of the smell? Did customers just deal with it?
