Indiscriminate slaughter of non-combattants is despicable, but the invasion and occupation of your country might well provoke one to similar crimes as a "resistance" fighter.
Gotta say, the concept of a US Embassy to the sovereign government of Iraq is as hollow sounding as the old Soviet Communist "Peoples' Free Democratic Republics of ________". The Iraqui government owes its existence to and gets its orders from the US occupying forces (presently engaged in securing the Peoples' Free Democratic Elections. Ah, the Ironies of history)
