I can only hope the loony toon left stays this mad, the more they whine and go on about how religious they are (did you know there is 100years of Catholic education in Nancy Ps family?) the dumber they look.

DQ may be right, many Rs are up for reelection and only once has a mid-term election not swung away from a sitting POTUS (of course that was two years ago ;-), but then again Howard "the screamer" Dean could get the party job and moveon.org could take over the party and they would implode. Perhaps Moore will do another movie as well LOL - I know, he could call it loser 11/2.

Funny I guess if you a fan of Chris Rock and Andrew Dice Clay.

This is a perfect example on what happens if the teaching of history is replaced with "creative math".

Just a note:
Founding fathers? All from the Northeast? The truth is, if it would have been up to the PA and NJ delegation we still would be condsidered "British Subjects".

For balance sake, here are a few "Southern Founding Fathers". I define the founding fathers as anybody that signed the a) Declaration of Independence b) Articles of the Confederation c) the US constitution.
The list is not complete:

Virginia
Richard Henry Lee
John Banister
Thomas Adams
John Harvie
Francis Lightfoot Lee
George Wythe
Thomas Jefferson
Benjamin Harrison
Thomas Nelson, Jr.
Carter Braxton

North Carolina
William Hooper
Joseph Hewes
John Penn

South Carolina
Edward Rutledge
Thomas Heyward
Thomas Lynch
Arthur Middleton

Georgia
Button Gwinnett
Lyman Hall
George Walton

It was better than festive it was profound.
Great article that says it all about the present day Red State mindset.
Down there the more things change ....the more they remain the same.....stuck in the past.

Ranger: yeah you're right. maybe I was a bit too extreme. But I'm still bummed about the results and I really do place some blame the bad attitude of some liberals for the results. oh well...

good one though!

I think this may be, seriously, a bit of cause and effect, too.
Most of Bush's voters, IMO, weren't swayed by Democratic blue-state rhetoric bemoaning a true "fuck the south" attitude - most of them are dyed in the wool Republicans to begin with. It is the fact that they came out in such numbers to vote Bush that has some people in the blue states shaking their heads. And posting humourously on the web.
