I have to tolerate this arrogance when I go to lunch every day. The hubris is revolting. What a sad commentary on what should be intelligent, educated commentators. Their ignorance exposes them for what they are - insensitive phonies.
"What a sad commentary on what should be intelligent, educated commentators."
With all due respect DQ, I beg to differ.
I saw the clip as half-needle, half-truth, done in a way that only "intelligent, educated commentators" are capable of.
Do you ever get to watch CBC News and/or the Mother-Corp’s political documentaries?
Its anchors/hosts are unfailingly "intelligent, educated commentators" but, Jaysus Murphy, do they ever lack one journalistic attribute you didn’t mention: Balance.
The stuff the clip covers, much of it tongue-in-cheek, is seen daily on the CBC - but from an opposite and humourless perspective.
So much so that many Canadians would like to see the Corp's funding capped, if not cut and/or eliminated entirely.
One final word: regardless of one’s opinion of Coulter or Carlson, both were dead-on about one thing – the sorry, sorry state of Canada’s military, our inability to defend ourselves and our sovereignty, and our ritual mocking of those that do – the United States of America.
Shame on us.
