NO Shows becoming a habit in Ottawa

As a former SP who toured Ottawa and never had a no-show, I have been somewhat suprised in the past few months to read about the amount of ladies that take the time and spend the money to come out there( because you guys all complain about not having any good sp's) and then get an incredible amount of no-shows.

I have a friend who is there right now...one guy stands her up, pms her after and says sorry..he had a meeting and then posts a review of "the meeting".Turns out the meeting was he decided to see someone else and didnt have the decency to let my friend know in time for her to perhaps utilize that time spot.

What I suggest is that the ladies out these chronic time and money wasters once they KNOW that it has happened to at least 2 SP's by the same guy.

These ladies are spending money to come out there and provide a service.....a little common courtesy is in order.

Perhaps this should give you some clue about the "guys" who complain about Ottawa talent being no good. Obviously, they aren't looking for "improvement" -- they're only looking to create the impression that Ottawa has nothing to offer.

And why do you think that might be?

Visiting escorts are now enjoying what those of us who live in Ottawa have been putting up with for some time now. There are those who have a vested interest in ensuring that people believe that business in Otttawa is no good. And who is behind it? Look at where they recommend people go instead of Ottawa.

Sorry for your friend -- she's just caught up in some dirty politics,

It is two way. The no-show of sp in Ottawa is not uncommon.

I think there is a difference.

I don't think we've ever made an appointment to meet at room x hotel y and time z, knocked and found nobody was in the room (I know, someone is going to jump up and down with an exception that proves the rule).

Since it's illegal to drag the no-shows out and flog them publicly, I don't know exactly what the Ottawa guys are supposed to do about the situation....

That really sucks. Kinda burns me, the no-shows. Makes guys like me and a good may other guys here look really bad. ;-(

I don't know, maybe it's just the kind of person I am, but I always call or e-mail well before the scheduled appointment if there's a chance I will miss it -- even for meet 'n greets (sorry again, Jas). In fact, often when I'm on my way to an MP or SP and I happen to be running a few minutes late because of traffic (or am lost), I'll call and let her know. Of course, I'm also one to say 'please' when requesting a specific service and always thank her at the end of the session (okay okay, no laughing, guys).

Well said, it does not take much effort to be polite. Some times things do not work out as planned but if you made an appointmet, make the effort to call if you cannot make it.

I work in an office, with a client base, and there are no shows all the time. It starts to be a drag with it happens too often, and it does piss us off. After a while we start finding excuses to increse the fees, or just drop the client all together. In the long run, it is always best to be polite.

i'm not going to take it any more in the past i kept my mouth shut not telling who the no shows were. from now on i can tell you all anyone who does this to me will be on a no show list i will share with other ladies who visit ottawa. to those of you who do call i say thank you respect goes a long way in my eyes

( my reason for being so angry is that i don't charge you guys extra to come here i pay my own room etc i think a lil respect isn't much to ask for in return)

It really is all about respect - good idea in starting a no show list (similar to the BCL) that hopefully will discourage this practice or at least forewarn others of its possibility.

luv4lust, you are perfectly justified. This happened to a good friend of mine this evening. She made an appointment with someone, he called her at least three times beforehand, she made all the arrangements and rearranged her personal life to be available to him and then.... no call, no show.

This is one of the reasons I insist on verifying clients so thoroughly. If someone does this to me, I want to know who they are so I can avoid getting suckered by them more than once.

...but then, a guy who would do this to an escort isn't likely to want to verify. He'll want to remain anonymous so he can continue to jerk escorts around to his amusement.

That's why I always say: verify, Verify, VERIFY!

Both ways

I agree with the ladies. it shows a lot of disrespect. However, it goes both ways. in fact, yesterday, i had an appointment with an out of town lady. i confirmed the time. When I called 15 minutes before, she cancelled because she had a client who booked her for the whole night. She told me to call her next week, when she will be back in town. What do you think I should do??????????

Help the rest of us by posting the name of the SP who did this to you.
