The Vegetative State
Did anyone catch The Daily Show Tonight? The mock-news segment featured interviews with two "Conservative Canadians" so distressed with the state of affairs up here that they were planning to move south. Well, needless to say, this being the Daily Show, they found the two biggest and dumbest wierdos they could and proceeded to make merciless fun of them. They spliced in a few clips of an interview with somebody from the Anti-Immigration League in the States who said he doesn't want any damn immigrants in his country, conservative Canadians or not.

I know, it was cheap, and I shouldn't have laughed, but I did. Long and hard.

..one of the best shows on T.V. as oppossed to Dennis Millers, my god that show blows. I cant believe this guy used to be funny.
His favourite joke is making fun of Arab peoples names. Hopefully the next time he is in NY some Taxi driver gives him a knuckle sandwhich.

Have to agree, Miller is about as washed up as a carp on the beach in Hamilton harbour.

It's so over Dennis.

Conservatives just aren't into comedy anyway, they just provide it.

I was always impressed by Miller's ability to tell a crappy joke and then spend the next five minutes trying to make jokes about how crappy the original joke was. Here's an idea, retard: WRITE FUNNY JOKES.

(I hate Dennis Miller with a passion that consumes me - and this hatred pre-dates his conservative days.)

Tonight Stewart had on Christopher Hitchens on. Hitchens is the left's worst best friend; he's like the guy who comes to your house drunk, hits on your wife, throws up on your couch and then passes out in your bathroom, only to give you 2000 dollars in the morning as compensation. Hitchens has been advocating a version of the "clash-of-civilisations" reading of world politics, and Stewart very justly called him on it: in the "civil war" in the Muslim world between conservatives and reformists, where did a figure like Saddam stand? Or, for that matter, the dozens of corrupt but secular leaders peppering the Muslim world? Is the US really the right nation to be leading vanguard of a Muslim religious revolution? Good show.

I have to disagree with you guys on Miller, I've caught his show a couple dozen times and found it very entertaining - more debate on that show then Crossfire for sure. He's not as funny as Jon Stewart - but then who is. As a moderate conservative I've grown up laughing at liberal comics making fun of me, I guess we're just more used to it than you guys are - if you can't laugh at yourself you have security issues.....

..he's an offensive jerk, who thinks mispronuoncing peoples names and mocking their accents is funny. If he did it in public he would get a punch in the face, which he would deserve.
Being the talentless hack he is he has joined the Right Wing crusade.
Its almost funny watching him dying on TV, not even getting any laughs from his own partisan audience.
