Why does TERB have a party in Toronto and none in Ottawa :-(

GREAT! Now could you delete this thread? If somebody try to PM you desperately, they'll figure it out, no need for this thread.

Here would be a clue for you guys in Ottawa. Get together and do your own party. The "TERB" parties on here are more or less organized by people on the board. TERB just is the place they all have in common. The thread title makes it sound you guys are jealous you are left out. Get some of the SP's and hobby boys together and pick a date, club and get to it ....

Why don't you guys have a party in Ottawa?

I was thinking of organizing a little get together in Ottawa during the Xmas / New Years break. But it seems I may be going to The Falls now instead.

Ottawa is still on my list though. I want to come for a visit for sure. Never thought Ottawa would be a place I would miss when I left there but I do sometimes. Maybe I'll come for The Tulip Festival. (Anybody have the dates for that this spring?) If I do I'll organize a little party for sure. Just one catch... it has to start at Diamonds and then we move over to BareFax. If you’re still alive after that we all go to Piagle on the Quebec side for last call.

I have no plans for Sat. yet. Maybe I can come. I have been to a terb party in Toronto before with two of my SP friends. Is there a time yet? Then I can just hang out in Ottawa for a few days.

I don't think this party is a go judging from the lack of current details. CC is not a good venue for it anyway.....but at least there would be plenty of room!

Chelsea, thanx for your interest - I have never been to one of these parties, but it sounds like it would be exciting, informative, a way to network and beneficial for all. I think there won't be one in Ottawa this weekend, unless it's arranged spontaneously ! Ottawa is just too much of a sleepy government town sometimes. Ottawa does have its assets but flamboyance is hidden somewhere between the hi-tech sector and the bedroom communities. If you're in town, let us know. I'm sure there would be lots of interest.
