Over the weekend, I drove down to Niagara Falls and, given some recommendations from a friend, I decided to try out an escort from one of the agencies there. This agency came highly recommended and so did his selection of the ladies. He is a regular client of this agency. Anyway, apparently only 1 of the 3 possible choices was available on Saturday and, in fact, she wasn't even supposed to be working that day, but since I was "his" friend, she would come over to see me. There was no photo of this escort on the agency website, but the description sounded very nice and my friend highly recommended her.

I happened to poke my head out the window when the car drove up and when she got out, along with her driver, I immediately said to myself, "Gee, I sure hope that's not her!". Unfortunately, it was. She wasn't what I pictured from the description I read, although I'm not saying it was really wrong. IMHO she had a "hard" look to her and she simply wasn't my type at all. I knew right then I did not want a session with her but I thought how could I turn her away at this point? After all, she wasn't even supposed to work that day. I felt I was obligated to pay her and see the session through, although I knew I was throwing my money away and was very disappointed in the fact that she was way off the type of lady I go for. I won't describe the session, except to say that it indeed was a complete waste of money.

What would you have done in this situation? Would you have turned the escort away knowing you'd be throwing your money away or would you, like me, feel obligated to go through with it since she was already at your door and you had specifically requested the lady by way of a friend's recommendation? I have nothing against my friend at all, since it's all a matter of taste and, even though we both occasionally see the same escort in Toronto, he was still guessing at the type of lady I would like at this agency in the Falls.

That's a tough one, meeee. As we always try to do the right thing, and yes, you put her in a difficult situation by calling her in on her day off but as an SP has the option of calling off a date if she chooses, so should the client.

I mean really, if this was a regular blind date, and upon meeting this person, things just weren't happening you could and should cancel the plans instead of prolonging the pain.

What I would have done is give her a few minutes just to see if your initial reaction was correct, and if things just weren't happening, bring it to her attention, apologise profusely, and if the situation demands it, offer some sort of monetary compensation.

This just kind of supports my theory of why I would never "go in blind". If the sp doesn't have a pic on the website, I won't be calling her. Yes I know it is somewhat shallow, but hey, men are visual creatures, and if she isn't pleasing to my eye, I doubt she will be pleasing to my body.

The doctor is in
It is YOUR MONEY....therefore, you do have a right to refuse at the door. As mentioned in other posts, be prepared to offer a cancellation fee of some sort.

3 options...

1) If she is not what was advertised I could send her away.
2) If she is not my type I could send her away with some cash and an apology.
3) If she is not my type and not as advertised I could just do it anyway and tell myself I had a "guy moment" and dogged it. It happens. Enjoy...

sp perspective

i would rather have someone simply offer a small compensation to pay for my driver or taxi ... perhaps a nominal amount of about $40.00 and have him simply explain that he had changed his mind.

let's face it - there are different strokes for different folks, but i would rather be with someone who is LOVING it ... then someone who is simply going through the motions.

Never, will say it again. Never spend time with anyone that makes you feel uncomfortable. Bait and Switch is practiced out here in Durham all the time or alot of small trash agencies with no website or pics to view. Why men decide to see ladies on a imagation expectations is beyond me!
I have no cancellation fee with my agency, and do not expect you to pay for what you don't like! We even offer the first 15mins to get yourselfs situated and comfortable, time for chit chat. We call it the dicisson maker! Time doesn't start until after she makes her call into me which is always 15-20mins of being there.
As for feeling obligated to see the session through is silly, she was nothing of what you expected or how discribed, l just believe that if l was to send out a lady that was the total oppisite of what the client expected, l should be the one obligated to pay the lady and the driver for my stupidness. But we do have to remeber it is not the SP's fault and there is no need to be rude or to make her feel worthless, after all it is not she that lied it was her agency or the lady on the phone. I'm a retired SP, who fortunatly was never sent away from a gentlemens home, I've always been welcomed in with the greatest of smiles! But if it were to happen you could always explain " I'm sorry but you are not at all what l was expecting, you are a wonderful looking lady but at this time l was hoping for someone else! would you like to use the phone to call your driver?"
With a line like that everyone wins, you keep your hard earned cash for another time, and she goes home without feeling less then she felt before she got there...:D

What l don't understand is why would the agency be booking apts with this lady when it is her day off?
Unless you refused to see anyone else..lol!
When our ladies are booked off, l forget they even exsist until they are scheduled to work again,.
awwwwwww, over worked and under payed definiatly makes a lady look hard.

Well, thanks to everyone who posted their thoughts regarding this situation that I found myself in last weekend and I've come to two conclusions. First, when dealing with an agency for the first time, I think I should ask about their policy regarding this, whether they have a no cancellation fee. Second, I can politely explain to the lady that she is simply not what I was expecting, as "miami" said, and offer a small amount for her trouble. I think that makes the best sense. This was the very first time an SP has come to my door where I did not want to go through with the session. I'm not saying I've not had disappointing sessions before, but I've never felt that I wanted to turn the escort away. I'm sure everyone works very hard for their money, and I hate throwing it away needlessly. Trouble is, I just hate to hurt a lady's feelings, and I'm a softie!
