I think the price difference comes with what type of spa you are running, body rub or holistic. I looked into purchasing a spa a few years ago, ended up passing up the opportunity- too much hassle. AS a body rub attendent, you just need a body rub licence- $200. AS an mpa in a holistic establishment, you need to take a course in Aromatherapy or something else holistic, then you need to get a licence. These courses run from $500- $1000. Based on the $800 fee, i would hope that it will be a holistic place.

it's my fault that i didn't made this clear enough. in order to get a holistic lisence in toronto, you need a valid massage course certificate.
$800 is for the certified courses - the lowest price in toronto, if you can find a cheaper price than that, i will match it.
and the lisence fee now for holistic practitioner is about $300 not $200 any more, correct me if i am wrong.

This place has gone down hill since the change in mgmt
It was great spot spawing some of the past and current great mpa's. But I find that the quality of customer service and talent has fallen off dramatically since it changed mgmt. I for one was a regular and have not been in several weeks, the girls are un happy and it shows.

Funny Ive never been responsible for any of my other employers rent before. Or if I indirectly was, it was through the door fee that the gentlemen paid, not outta my pocket!
You say hiring on terb doesnt work? I think what you mean is trying to rip off your employees before they even become your employees doesnt work.
