The police are not treating this as a cop shooting someone but as a civilian shooting. Toxicology samples and an arrest warrant issued last I saw.

The local police have also invited the State police to take over the case.

There isn't a jury, even in Texas that will aquit on this one. She is going to probably plead out as it's not premeditated but to what is the question.

More I think about it the more this cops life needs to be torn apart to see if she had any interaction with the victim.

This whole story doesn't add up. How could she not have known that she was at the wrong apartment when the victim had a red rug outside the front door??
