They represent 25% of US Steel imports. But Canadian steel is still a threat to US National security.... LOL!

The man is a complete buffoon.

Canada is a national security threat. And the spineless Congress which has become completely subservient to the PGOTUS sits on its hands and abdicates its constitutional role. This is precisely why Canada cannot give on the dispute resolution mechanism in any NAFTA agreement. The US under Trump does not believe in a rules based system in which they can be held to those rules.

Hopefully, Congress will find its spine one day or the balance of power shifts in November. The GOP live in complete fear of Trump when they hold the power to reign him in, NOW. A real failure of leadership in Congress.

I think they held a sort of power something like that right after the election. Kow-towing and rolling over for him which is all they've done since has rubbed all that little power away and now only his diehard base is left. The GOP are either clinging to that meagre straw like drowning sailors, or swimming for safety like Paul Ryan. What little safety they had is being swamped and overrun by the truly nasty critters swimming out to feed off Trump's napkin scraps. For those irredeemable rejects even the most wretched leavings look like a banquet.

The only real question isn't if the GOP will leave Trump, or even when. It's, by then who will be left to care?

Canada should put on hold the increase in spending on NATO. It makes no sense to agree to any crap that is stipulated by that idiot of a PGOTUS.
If he cannot consider Canada to be a staunch ally then we should even pull out of NATO and agree to rejoin once sanity is instituted by impeaching Trump and throwing him out of the Whitehouse.

Unless you mean a rat swimming to safety, I think you're being too easy on Ryan. He and other leaders should be judged more harshly than some lower profile GOP Congressman.
