The Trump administration has taken another important step to try to get the Palestinians to start living in the real world.

Trump has rejected the fictitious "right-of-return" claim for the so-called "refugees" -- the overwhelming majority of whom aren't refugees at all (most never lived in Isreal).

https://www.newsweek.com/trump-wont-consider-palestinian-right-return-peace-deal-haley-1094318

It means the Palestinians will only get a "solution" to its desired statehood when it accepts the co-existence of a Jewish state.

This was long overdue.

This land is our land,
It is not your land,
We stole it fair and square,
Like the Europeans stole,
The New World from the Americans.

Why would anyone be surprised that Trump supports this?

This is the wet dream of Zionists. The fact that Trump supports this only indicates the intellectual company that this idea holds.

If this thread stays active long enough, you'll read the most vile and repugnant racism towards Palestinians that you can imagine. It will sicken you.

Most of the alt right on this site are not very educated about the issue in the first place. A lot of the left leaning posters are participating less and less as the board is starting to resemble stormfront and 4chan.

Those who are educated about the issue know that calling it a "right" is a misnomer. There is no "right" of return notwithstanding that it fits the political narrative of some on this board.

I knew you would crawl out of the woodwork on this issue. Hence my prediction. Your grotesque view of Palestinians is revealed in one of your quotes:

Actually, it's Israel's Jews that are being the fed the dream of pushing Palestinians into the sea. The fantasy of a Jewish only Israel is the wet dream of Zionism. And they've been trying to do it for more than 50 years.
LOL. Trying? You mean succeeding. You are a funny clown. Always pathetic and increasingly desperate and silly. Keep up the good work.
It's funny that Trump is now your ally. But there is no level too low to debase yourself or others when it comes to Zionism's insatiable need to be rid of Palestinians.

LOL. Do you think that changing your name makes you less a pathetic clown. You are, however, still quite funny, in a pathetic way of course. Those who follow my posing here will know that I have been an advocate for Palestinian sovereignty etc. It is clowns like you who make demands which will NEVER be acceptable who have prevented the rightful aspirations of the Palestinian people from being realized. Keep up the good work and we will be having this debate ibn another 60 years.

Your racism is there for everyone to see. You don't disavow it. You don't say it's inaccurate. You brag about pushing Palestinians into the sea. You think doing that is worth an "LOL".

And it's no accident that you used the word "posing" rather than "posting". You are certainly a poser.

Like I said, this issue will reveal the bigots on this board.

You really are quite a pathetic clown. Get back to me in another 60 years and if you and people like you keep feeding the Palestinians the same fantasy lets see where they and their grandchildren and great grandchildren are. Regrettably probably in the same camps that their Arab brethren in Jordan, Lebanon etc have kept them for the last 60 years. You should be very proud. I hope that at some point reason will prevail and the Palestinians will reject your hate and self-serving demagoguery and fantasies. Until then keep up the good work.

Here is the actual Israeli law on citizenship:

Persons born outside Israel are Israeli citizens if their father or mother holds Israeli citizenship, acquired either by birth in Israel, under the Law of Return, by residence, or by naturalization. Citizenship by descent, on the principle of jus sanguinis, is limited to only one generation born abroad.

So you see only the grand children of the original refugees are not entitled to return or Israeli citizenship. But once their parents claim citizenship, the grand children pretty much get it as well. So you and Trumpty Dumpty are wrong. The refusal of Israel to grant return is really just ethnic cleansing and illegal under their own laws.

You must be a Zionist. The people with the deeds to land who have been there before The Zionists have a right to return.

You sound like the people who don't think Blacks in South Africa should get their land back.

As if the left are much more educated on this.

Fact is that any legal rights in international law would only give the option to the 30,000 or so who actually lived in Israel once a peace deal is signed. Almost more important, the most recent poll of refugees and their descendants said that only 10% or so actually wanted to move to Israel in a peace deal.

As a side matter, one Palestinian government has repeatedly turned down peace deals and the other is adamant that they will never accept a peace deal.

Except the original refugees left because they didn't want to be Israelis so they were never Israeli citizens.

So I assume you support Jews who owned property having the right to return to Hebron, the Old City of Jerusalem and the places in the Arab world that almost a million fled from.

Personally I think the loss of property on both sides is long in the past and essentially cancel each other out but if you think the rights of land owners supersede all then you must hold that view regardless of race.

You might also want to look at the land reform laws under the Ottomans in the late 19th and early 20th century. You would find that very few Palestinians actually owned the land they lived on. Most of it was state owned and the private land was owned by wealthy Arabs based in Beiruit, Damascas, etc.

UN 194.
The United Nations General Assembly adopts resolution 194 (III), resolving that “refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property which, under principles of international law or equity, should be made good by the Governments or authorities responsible.”
https://www.unrwa.org/content/resolution-194

No qualifications about signing peace deals, by the way.
