It's their own fault. The internet has exposed them for what they've been for decades. Just mat puppets and talking tits for the elite. Now they're being exposed for what they really are and all they can do is whine and try and enforce censorship via social media sites. Pathetic.

Good thing you never go on social media, watch or read any MSM then, isn't it? Nothing but pure fantasy from unknown sources somewhere in cyberdigispace, that just … sorta … exists.

The internet has not exposed then as you say. It has changed the way in which people obtain information. The media will adapt although it will take time and it will be financially painful in the interim.

Yup. And when the dust settles most people will be getting most news from the most reliable providers. Just like they already do now. <yawn>

Painful indeed. The ad-supported model for digital properties encourages media outlets toward sensationalism, and away from boring fact. Let us hope that the news industry cracks the subscription nut.

The MSM was mortally wounded during the Dubya's presidency. It was put on life support under Obama and it expired, rather spectacularly, under Trump. The myth of an unbiased journalism has been finally and permanently laid to rest. All we got left is partisan and results oriented outlets. Perhaps it's for the best, no more pretending.

Goodness! Imagine thinking it it ever was unbiased! I've been reading newspapers since Eisenhower — well, only the easy words — What's Korea Mommy? — and there hasn't been a year go by without someone claiming objective news has died. When did it ever live? When Yellow Journalism sparked the Spanish American War?

Since human reproduction is a basic freedom means there's an endless supply of new customers for the charlatans who exploit the childish trust in familiar sources — Are Communists all bad Daddy? — because digging for facts, or insisting those sources offer them for your trust is hard work.

But every new adult generation has to learn that for itself. Along with, it's easier to sell lies in the language of the listener, and facts are still facts, even if they're old news from old sources.

When they expose Trump's 4000 plus, and still counting lies and misleading facts, then obviously they then become the "fake" news. The fact is the majority of Americans still go by the various MSM sources whereas the 30% or so of the Trumptard cult followers will only be attracted by the only right wing Newsmedia in Fox News Network!! Does "money not control" this media. What else does??

Hence, I said:"no more pretending". I never said they were unbiased before.
