Well written article... I suppose the broader question is, what will be Done in Canada to change the law as it currently stands? I've heard that one case in London Ontario is mounting a challenge, and that another sex worker's rights group is getting fed up with the Liberal's inaction on C-36, and may launch a Charter challenge of their own. Moreover, there will be a resolution to amend / repeal C-36 at the Liberal convention on the east coast in April... details are spotty, but I'm hoping that this will be the impetus toward meaningful (and long overdue) change... Any updates on these?

I must admit that I have been inattentive to the issue and assumed that all was well as long as local police forces simply didn't enforce C-36. The Charter challenge in London is being reserved by the judge. I am glad to hear about the Liberal resolution to amend / repeal in Halifax. I wonder if joining the Liberal Party would help in any way??
