- Thanks for the feedback bayboy42, its most appreciated.

- Here's part of a press release I wrote thats condensed down from 13 pages of technical and scientific data. It gives a little more explanation of penile stimulants.

Treating Erectile Dysfunction using Penile Stimulants

Viagra or Cialis? Penile stimulants can be used to help suppress erectile dysfunction, but what are the differences and how do they apply to you?

(PRWEB) Sept 27, 2004 -- Are penile stimulants for you? According to the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NAMCS), erectile dysfunction affects as many as 50% of men between the ages of 40-70. Since the introduction of Viagra in 1998, there are new alternatives to this popular penile stimulant and understanding the benefits and side effects can help you decide which solution to choose.

Physiology

The erection of the human penis involves the relaxation of the smooth muscles in an organ called the corpus cavernosum, resulting in an increase in blood flow to the organ. The corpus cavernosum then expands under the pressure of the blood flow and causes the penis to enlarge and become rigid, producing an erection. When the mechanisms involved in the relaxation of the smooth muscles of the corpus cavernosum are impaired, impotence results. This condition is also called erectile dysfunction.

Pharmacology

Many drugs have been designed to increase and maintain blood volume levels in the corpus cavernosum, through inhibition of the enzyme phoshodiesterase. The first of its kind was Sildenafil, a drug produced by drug company Pfizer in 1998. The drug company Eli Lilly has recently introduced Tadalafil, or more commonly refereed to as Cialis. Another, eRex (http://www.erexpill.com) is the result of homeopathic doctors working on a capsule that would mimic the result of both these proven manufacturers. Over time eRex has evolved into an alternative herbal medication that mimics the results and benefits of Cialis. All ingredients are contrived from natural resources, however its the measurement of these in even the smallest of increments that ultimately decides the potency and effectiveness of eRex. Also worth mentioning is a drug in a class called Vardenafil by parent company Bayer AG, however it has not yet been introduced into the market.

Comparison & Side Effects

Individuals with pre-existing cardiovascular disease for whom sexual activity is dangerous should avoid the above mentioned stimulants. It is thought that organic nitrate medications produce an additive effect on blood pressure Therefore these individuals may be a risk of life threatening hypotension when Sildenafil (Viagra), Tadalafil (Cialis) and eRex are used in conjunction with medications containing nitrates.

When using the mentioned stimulants, it is possible that a number of side-effects can occur such as: headache, flushing of the face, neck and chest area, as well as dyspepsia (stomach pain), and nasal congestion. Documented reports show that users of Sildenafil (Viagra) experienced a higher incidence of headache, flushing, stomach pain and temporary abnormal vision, than those of Tadalafil (Cialis/eRex). Both Cialis & eRex (http://www.erexpill.com) target different enzymes than that of Viagra which in turn has less of an impact on blood pressure (headaches) as well as allowing the individual to administer the stimulant on an empty stomach, therefore avoiding stomach discomfort usually associated with the use of Viagra.

Summary

Nearly 50% of men between the ages of 40-70 are affected by erectile dysfunction and penile stimulants can provide an effective solution. Treatments with Sildenafil (Viagra), Cialis, and eRex may improve the ability to acquire an erection. Furthermore, one disctinct advantage for both Cialis and eRex over Viagra is its effectiveness over elapsed time as well as a decrease in side-effects such as headaches and stomach discomfort. Also, the half-life of Cialis & eRex are more than three times longer than that of Viagra, meaning the ability to achieve and maintain an erection is available to the user for a much more distinct period of time. With consideration to the side-effects and any pre-existing cardiovascular conditions, the treatment of penile stimulants can be your solution for erectile dysfunction.

It works

Well it seems no sooner said - my sample arrived in the mail later that day.

I have to agree with the other posts here - the pill works great. Had an encounter 2 1/2 hours after taking the pill, I was harder and lasted much longer than I can remember in some time. That night another session with exceptional staying power. Another session last night with similar results. It's 48 hours after my does and I get hard just thinking about it.

Doug, look for my reorder soon.

Maybe Doug has these pills in different dosages?
- Currently erex is only available in the 20mg dosage. You may want to attempt to cut the capsule in half next time......others have apparantly done this with success.

- highwayhardrun, thanks for taking the time to offer your feedback -- Im happy you were satisfied.

Right here. But wish I was there!
YMMV

I, too, received my sample pill very quickly. And put it aside for a prime opportunity.
Which arrived yesterday.
As they say, YMMV
The pill didn't seem to work for me.
Took it about 2 1/2 hours before the encounter, on a full stomach.
Might have been a small increase in performance but I fully expected more stamina.
And nothing more after the first shot although we certainly tried for more.
Different folks react different ways I guess.

Recreational use

Had a great time using the product. I do not have ED problems but was curious as to its effects. I took some of the advice about dehydration and no alcohol. So that nothing effected the results.

Took the pill at about 8pm sunday and my date arrived about 10pm. My face was a bit flush for an hour or so. But when my date arrived all was forgotten. I have never had an erection as hard as that in my life. Enjoyed MSOG that evening. I did wake up in the morn with a slight head ache but an aspirin took care of that. At my monday seminar I started having a discusion with a cute girl. As we spoke my thoughts drifted to the night before and I had a noticible erection. I think she was flattered (at her abilty to effect on me) because she made an effort to sit and talk to me the next day. And like the others I experienced many hard erections for 2+ days.

Would I use this product again?? Oh yes and most likely on a weekend get away.

I have to say I had a great time with the product - performance at will for 5 days and unprecedented stamina. I ordered some stock on Monday - sure hope it gets here faster than the sample did.

Hold onto your wallets!

Before throwing away money on these sorts of "herbal" products, folks might want to take a look at this page on double-blind studies. Testimonials just don't cut it as evidence.

Ha Ha Ha....

Yo jwmorrice....ask erex to send you a sample...... Then we won't believe you either... LOL.

The tesimonial are not evidence....duh no kidding. Evidence is something that exists. (ie reports, charts measuments, observations and the scientific sort.) What I posted was self observations... I should of had some charts and field notes while I took the drug... But darn i was more interested in screwing my date. Maybe I can ask erex to send another sample with some observation charts I can fill in with my partner to verify the results. But on a more serious note. I would have to say there is a lot of herbal medicians that require better study. Something the drug companies have a bit of a worry. Imagine a herbal remedy that is as common as table salt that would cure aids or diabetes. No profit in that is there?. No drug dependant people with costly meds required?

But still today we must sort the truth from the opportunist making a quick buck with snake oil remedies. In my opinion with erex this is not the case

Evidence would be a double-blind study. That alone can rule out a placebo effect. A self-study, in which you know what you're taking, wouldn't cut it no matter how many charts or measurements were involved..

However, it's interesting that erex cites no studies at all as to the efficacy of their product.

Their website states: "eRex Industries was established in 1993 in San Jose California by a small group of homeopathic doctors and scientists researching herbal medicines."

Homeopathy! Hey, can you spell quackery?? For example, see: http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/homeo.html

- jwmorrice, I applaud your efforts of warning TERB members of less than legit herbal remedy sales people because I know first hand the tactics and lies these other herbal companies bring to the industry.

- When I first appeared on the TERB/PERB/MERB network as an advertiser I knew darn well I'd be up against some skeptical opposition, so with the advice of board administration I sponsered a giveaway........what better way to prove a products authenticity than to offer a FREE giveaway, afterall you can only fool so many individuals with a false product right? -- let everyone try absolutely free of risk and let them decide whether the product is right for them. I offered one thousand free samples because I stand behind the product I sell 100% . I risked not only the cost of product, but the cost of mailing, packaging and the risk of negative feedback as well ....... Im not aware of any other herbal penile enhancement product that has also gone to these lengths!?!

- In closing I'd like to thank everyone that took part in the eRex free giveaway and generously offered their feedback to the membership of TERB. I hope that everyone that had the oppurtunity to sample eRex was satisfied with its results and continue to support our company in association with the TERB community.

Thanks All
Doug

A better way would be to supply some double-blind studies of your product. Give-aways and subsequent testimonials prove nothing at all.

Hey, do you even state somewhere what ingredients are in your product? Maybe I missed it on your website? And I don't mean something silly like 'herbal cialis'. That information would enable folks to perform their own internet searches on the likely efficacy of your product.

- With all your "double blind studies" and "factual data" insertions Ive come to the conclusion that in fact you really must be a competitor? ....... All Ive done is offer a free product for members to try and form their own conclusion -- its all quite simple really and without all the studies and research you suggest. If people dont like the product they will voice their opinion, good or bad and in turn make a purchase or choose not to.

- I've stated before that eRex does not employ shady tactics such as spam e-mails, gimmicky affiliation programs, e-mail harvesting ect, the free giveaway was completely just that....a free giveaway. I simply offered a free sample and the product stood on its own, after that its up to the consumer to decide. In turn, the best form of advertising is word of mouth. Letting people sample the product before they commit to purchase will ultimately decide the success of the business.

A competitor? Well, I guess in a sense I am. I'm trying to get people to think before they reach for their wallets and send you their money.

T'would appear from you response, that I was right, i.e. nowhere on your website does it say what's in your "herbal cialis". Hard to believe but seems to be true.

You state, "...the best form of advertising is word of mouth." I'll take your word on that. Sadly, in this case, advertising seems to have taken the place of studies designed to evaluate your product claims.

That's it for me on this subject. Caveat emptor.

I tried the pill last week. Took it 4 hours before by appointment and other than some slight improvment it was nothing much.
The next day (probably 12 hours into the pill) it started to feel significantly fuller (when not aroused) and responded quicker when arroused. I can not say if response time improved as I did not get an oportunity to find out.

There was an unwelcome side effect - the blood vessels in my legs started to get very sore and I found it interfered with my sleep as it was very painfull. Took 2 days for the effects to wear off and 3 days for the legs to feel normal.

If I could be sure that the leg pain would not return I would use it again.

What's the fuss?

I have never before tread into these kinds of debates - limiting myself to reviews only, but I have to say maybe we should sit back a moment and think about it.

When I read an ad that has testimonials, I rarely give them much thought as I cannot be certain the credibility/compensation of those touting a product. That includes any on the eRex site and SP's that put links to (only the good) reviews on their web sites. However, what is the TERB but a series of reviews/testimonials/what have you? I think we should judge each post based on our own view of the credibility of the poster.

In my case, I prefer herbal remedies. I have tried many products in an effort to enhance my pleasure, endurance, hardness, etc. Almost all have come up short. The only exception has been pulled off the shelves by Health Canada - two different formulations. That is until now. I tried eRex, it worked for me, I'll use it again - believe it or not. Now if their order delivery was more timely...
