I was glad to see them win, and the way they won with their offence exploding withing 20 min. Baros has been on fire, too bad he sucks for Liverpool.

So this leads us to...Portugal vs Netherlands and Greece vs Czech Republic

I am hoping for a Netherlands victory, and Portugal is beatable they havent looked unstoppable by any means. And if Figo continues to sulk, maybe that will bring some of the team down.

I would think the Czechs should beat Greece, but then again I also thought Portugal and France would beat them. I think the Czechs offence is on a such a roll they will continue to score and beat Greece.

Although, if the tournament has indicated anything, it is to expect the unexpected!

The Czechs look unstoppable. Greece has beaten Portugal and France and tied Spain. All of these teams have looked suspect during this tournament, with Spain and France being so the most. Hence they are out. Will like to see how Greece plays against a team that is firing on all cylinders. Czech Portugal final.

Yeah, the Greeks' luck has run out.

I'm sure that's what the French were saying.

And I'm sure it was all just sheer luck that France lost.
We'll see.

Am I the only one to think that Portugal has a chance of beating Holland??

Just like France, I think Holland is more of a STAR system rather than a real Team.
Portugal was Pretty impressive against Spain and England, they cannot be ruled out.... Plus, they're Home!

Absolutely.....no one knows which dutch team......or should I say dutch players will show up.......Portugal is at home, we know they will give everything they have, anything can happen...on the other side that amazing czech team will be in the final and already deserves the title.....what a Euro they have played so far....outstanding!!!

You know Kev, I've been a Holland fan since the glory days of Ajax with Johan Cruyff, Neeskens & Keizer......but they're starting to get on my nerves with those prima donna attitudes.....like Van Nistelrooy & Kluivert who will not play together....how stupid is that!.....so, yes I love them....but the Czechs really deserve the title....they've come and played 1000% all the time....that is admirable.

I agree Benhur. I get the impression that the Dutch think its there right to have a championship when in fact they need to earn it. I was happy to see Holland win on penalties against Sweden because to lose another game on a shootout is something no club needs to face. Sweden will have there spotlight another day.

The Czechs and Greeks don't have the egos on there team like some of the other clubs. I feel these two in particular are just happy to be this far along in the tournament. With the achievement of both clubs i feel they have already won. Living in France for a short time it came natural for me to root for them. With them out of Euro2004 the other club i always enjoyed was Holland. So i'll stick to being a Holland supporter and hope they win. And if it turns out to be another club i can live with that. Cheers --- Kev

I know they dont seem to like each other...but from what I gather Kluivert has also had feuds with the coach and that is one of the reasons he has yet to make an appearance thus far. Which begs the question, why put Kluivert on the team at all then, and why not Jimmy Floyd instead?

I never knew V.Nistelrooy and Kluivert refuse to Play Together..?
Why?
'' In the past four years the partnership Kluivert-van Nistelrooy has become the footballing equivalent of the Richard Burton/Liz Taylor-marriage. A dream pair on paper, yet trouble in the flesh. In the 45 minutes they played together in Lausanne , Van Nistelrooy almost made a point of not connecting with his partner, while Kluivert has lost his form so completely that gelling with the United striker will only become an option when his ball control returns to normal standards.''
