Likely a Canadian ex-pat on the presses with some serious issues.

Apparently they had two versions of the editorial ready, and printed the wrong one...

To my thinking, an editorial is supposed to be the paper's version of the truth If they had two versions does that mean there are two truths? Just wondering.

best typos

This kind of stuff happens all the time. Typos are simply a fact of life in the publishing biz.

My favourite one involved the construction of a new arena in a small Ontario town that I'll call Meaford, because that's its name. One of the unique aspects of the ice surface was that all the electrical conduits went underneath the ice.

However, printed in the paper, was, "The ice surface is unique because all the wives are buried underneath."

From what I read in the Star today they print two versions one if they were to loose (if Calgary tied and won in OT as they scored late in the 3rd) and one to say Tampa won. I guess what hapenned is they sent out the wrong one to quick before checking the headline

The same error occured in last years basbeball playoffs saying the red sox beat the yankees in the final game. But the Yankees won that game in extra innings. So I guess some people dont double check before they spread the correct statement lol
